The Project Nursery team just returned from the ABC Kids Expo 2016, and we’re bursting at the seams with excitement over the amazing new companies and products we discovered. Some of them are already available for purchase (grab your credit cards, mamas!), and some of them will be making their way to retailers in 2017, but one thing is for sure—they’re all worth the wait. Here are sixteen companies/products to watch for.
Project Nursery Electronics
Guess what, for the first time ever, we had our very own booth at ABC. It was pretty incredible to see our name in lights at the biggest industry show of the year. Our big news is the launch of the parent + baby Smart Band, which can track feedings, diaper changes, fitness and so much more! We are planning to hit stores in early 2017. Much more to come on that later.
Eden Bed in Rose Gold from Incy Interiors
Straight from Down Under, Incy Interiors is shaking up the baby and kids furniture market with super glam finishes like rose gold. The Eden Bed is available in sizes from twin up to queen, and the twin and full beds feature two adjustable mattress heights. The twin bed retails for $699.
CYBEX by Jeremy Scott
New York-based fashion designer Jeremy Scott, know for his collection with Adidas, has teamed up with CYBEX to create a fashion-forward collection that’s totally gonna fly. Pop art meets a bit of whimsy, his bold black and gold + iconic wings are not for the meek. The Priam Carry Cot 3-in-1 System ($499) and the 2.Go Baby Carrier ($129.95) are available now.
With the goal of conquering clumps in mind, this fun new line of baby bottles comes to us from Sweden—it’s truly the next generation of bottle feeding. Twistshake baby bottles not only come in bright colors but are designed specifically for easily mixing formula with one easy twist and shake. The mixer net actively dissolves clumps, while the ergonomically designed bottle is grip-friendly, for both parent and child. Twistshake is coming soon to baby stores and amazon.com. The Twistshake retails for around $10 for the bottle, mixer net, silicone nipple and anti-colic valve.

This new glider retails for around $599 and will be available in early 2017.

Well, now Silver Cross has taken that concept and updated it for the modern day. The new Silver Cross Wave Stroller (shown here in a double stroller configuration) will be arriving stateside next year, and the details are amazing. Let’s start with the leather trim and gorgeous color options. The Wave is a travel system with the ability to transition into a tandem stroller with a total of 16 different configurations. The High Chair is available in three different colors, light green, light pink and white, and it can be used for kids between the ages of six months and three years old.
Props go out to JuJuBe for the chicest booth in the place! They produced a clever camp-themed outpost to showcase their new mini diaper bags and newest look called “Black Ops.” You won’t want to go under cover while carrying one of these new styles.
