What’s Next and What’s Best from ICFF

ICFF, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair, is the major “what’s next and what’s best” event for the contemporary furniture market in NYC. This show never disappoints, and I spotted amazing design pieces from all over the world while walking the high-fashion event to the tunes of a live DJ!

Sissy + Marley, a Project Nursery favorite, showed up to the party with several fresh wallpaper patterns. I spied scribbly hearts and a classic hug and kiss XO pattern, marking a definite love theme, but the crescent moons also gave an elegant nod to nighttime and sleep.

Textile designer and new mom Molly Fitzpatrick is the creator of DittoHouse, a new line of super fun, pop-inspired throws and pillows made from sustainable fibers. Her cotton pillows were my personal fave—so soft!

Photographic designer Claire Swindale won my little anglophile heart with her English-inspired wallpapers, textiles and cushions. This pattern would definitely add a posh ‘n’ proper touch to the nursery.

The newest collection from Tempaper speaks to my soul. I love chinoiserie—I love painting it, and I love when it is celebrated. Right now chinoiserie is having a moment! In just one afternoon you can add an enchanted world of flora and fauna to your space with these easily removable temporary wall coverings. The looks are scalable to the size of your wall—they’d make a perfect accent wall for the nursery!Chinoiserie Temporary Wallpaper

The modern tree shape of the unique Splyt Light is totally charming. You can design your own table lamps or even a chandelier using their kits. A starter kit comes with the base, six branches and eight lights, but extension kits can be used to create an even bolder masterpiece.
