When we spotted Jenny Keller’s (aka Jenny Cookies) latest party, we just knew we had to share it with you. It is beyond cute, and, as usual, Jenny is at the top of her game. Now I may be biased since I have been known to watch gingerbread house decorating contests on the Food Network, but there is nothing that says holiday time like adding sweets to an adorable little house. Start the whole thing off with a brunch that encourages your kids to play with their food? We’re sold.
We love how Jenny used personalized plates to let kids practice their decorating skills before the gingerbread houses came out (psst! we sell those adorable plates in The Project Nursery Shop). Of course, the party decorations are perfectly on point.
I’m seeing these colorful bottle brush trees popping up everywhere.
A winter party isn’t complete without a hot cocoa station. Jenny went all out with cute Santa mugs for each child.
Santa and Mrs. Claus are ready and waiting to get dressed up—they make me laugh every time I see them. We sell gingerbread girls in our shop too.
Here are all the breakfast fixings, aka Mr. and Mrs. Claus’ clothes.
The kids really got creative with the brunchy outfits they came up with for Santa and Mrs. Claus.
These sweet snowmen marshmallows and peppermint sticks make the cocoa even more appealing. Yum!
Muffin tins keep the gingerbread house decorations neat and easy for the kids to reach.
Then just let the kids loose to decorate their tiny candy homes.
Jenny offers a great tip to tie the end of the pastry bag shut, so the icing doesn’t ooze out of the top while the kids are working.
