Beat the Back-to-School Blues with this Yummy Snack Mix

It’s that time of year again! Summer fun is winding down, and the store shelves are stocked with backpacks and binders. It always comes too quickly, especially if you’re like us and have a little one starting kindergarten (sniff, sniff)! Help them get excited for school and practice their ABCs at the same time with this fun back-to-school snack mix.

Here’s what we put in our yummy mix. We went on the hunt for letter-shaped snacks and were pleasantly surprised with the variety of options available. Of course you can substitute any of these items based on your child’s favorites.

There are so many ways to enjoy this educational treat. You could set up a snack-making station at a back-to-school party or pre-package the mix as a take-home treat for guests using school-inspired favor bags or cute themed cartons—ours were a Target Dollar Spot score! You could also tuck it into you child’s lunch bag with a little note for a first-day-of-school surprise. It’s fun for kids of all ages, from preschool to high school!
