In Search of a Little Peace of Mind? This Week You Could Win It!

Peace of mind is absolutely priceless, especially when you become a parent. My husband and I decided to transition my daughter into her crib in the nursery when she was about three months old, and I remember waking up in a cold sweat more than once in the first few weeks, totally anxious about whether or not she was okay. I’d grab the baby monitor and stare at the tiny screen, waiting for her to make the slightest movement or cry out for me. Once we settled into our new routine, I relaxed a little bit, but I found a great deal of comfort in knowing that I could peek at her any time I wanted to without going into her room and—gasp!—accidentally waking her up.

ComfortCam is a brand new wifi-enabled baby monitor that’s officially launching this week, and with all of its amazing features, this is one product that will help even the most sleep-deprived parents to rest a little easier. This week we’re teaming up with ComfortCam to give you the chance to add this invaluable piece of baby gear to your nursery. One Project Nursery reader will win a ComfortCam camera (a $149 value).

ComfortCam Baby Monitor

Kelley and Ray Spoljaric were on the hunt for a safe and secure baby monitor that wouldn’t break the bank and would help them stay connected to their two little ones when they returned to work. When their search came up short, they decided to develop an affordable monitor that included all of their must-have features, and ComfortCam was born.

The ComfortCam works with an app on your phone, allowing you to easily check in on baby from anywhere in your home over your secure wifi network. And if you want to be able to ease your mind on the go, you can upgrade to ComfortCam Plus, which includes Remote Viewing Access. ComfortCam connects via LTE, 4G or 3G when you’re not within the range of your wifi network, and for under $10 per month, you can see your little one from anywhere in the world. Plus, the first month is free—how’s that for peace of mind?

ComfortCam Baby Monitor

Along with the normal capabilities of a video baby monitor, ComfortCam is fully loaded with features like night vision, two-way audio, pan/tilt/zoom, picture capture (still photos one at a time or in sequence), recording (securely and without remote storage fees because it’s stored on your own device, not on a cloud), split screen (you can monitor up to four cameras on the same screen) and a digital clock that’s great for tracking feeding time.

WIN IT! One Project Nursery reader will win a ComfortCam camera (a $149 value).

We looked for something like this and ended up getting a regular camera (foscam) that we can connect the same way and don't have to pay extra, I don't see the benefit of this...
