Giveaway: $300 Credit to Rise Art

I think the single most challenging aspect of designing a nursery—or any room for that matter—is figuring out what to hang on the walls. Do you want a statement piece or would you rather create a gallery wall? Should you go for a painting, an illustration or photography? Or maybe a beloved quote? And what about subject matter? And style? I’m getting overwhelmed just thinking about it, which probably explains why there’s more than one wall in my home that’s completely bare. I’m a perfectionist, and I’m often scared of making the wrong choice (because what I hang on my walls is such a life-changing decision, after all). Does anyone else have the same problem? Just me?

Rise Art is an online source for contemporary art, and this amazing site not only has a fabulous collection, but it also helps to take some of the guesswork out of selecting artwork for your home. This week we’re teaming up to give you the chance to deck your nursery walls with some truly beautiful art. One Project Nursery reader will win a $300 credit to Rise Art.

Rise Art offers a curated selection of art from both emerging and established artists from around the world. Check out the gorgeous and unique pieces in the nursery collection—from limited edition prints to neon artwork, you’re sure to find something you’ll fall in love with.

If you’re like me, it’ll be so easy to lose yourself browsing Rise Art’s amazing collection for hours. You can also filter the art by subject, medium, color, size and price, or if you need a little extra help, you can take the What’s Your Art Personality? style quiz to help narrow down the selections. Answer a few simple questions and pick your favorites from a range of styles, and Rise Art will recommend art that best fits your taste. I’m a sucker for quizzes, so I loved seeing my results!

And now for a little eye candy. Here are a few hand-picked pieces from Rise Art’s Artists We Love. Kristjana Williams is an Icelandic artist whose work is colorful and eye-catching. Her tree series is really special, and she also creates absolutely stunning map illustrations.

Barry Goodman takes his inspiration from all things vintage, and with a unique color palette and style, he creates distinctly modern illustrations. The New York taxi and tin car prints would be perfect for a boy’s room.

The fun, colorful and contemporary art by Takashi Murakami is a natural fit for a nursery. He has collaborated with Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams and Kanye West (!!!), and his collection has been featured at the Palace de Versailles in Paris.

If you have a really hard time committing to artwork like I do, you’ll definitely want to check out their rental program. It allows you to try before you buy and earn credits towards the purchase of the ones you truly love.
