Design Reveal: Metallic Wood Wall Nursery

Okay, okay…so I say this a lot. But this time I mean it! This may just be my very favorite boy nursery EVER. Not only does it incorporate every single top nursery trend at the moment, but it does so with originality, style and baby bedding from Caden Lane that is gorgeous (if I do say so myself).

I’ve always loved the wood wall look—its vintage style, texture and ability to take any nursery design up a notch are all unparalleled. We’ve seen them painted and stained, and we’ve even seen wallpaper that looks like wood! But when artist Tracey Bellion of Tracey’s Fancy added that silver accent to create the metallic wood wall in this nursery, I about had a heart attack! It is truly the most amazing wood wall I’ve ever seen, and I’m desperately looking for a wall in my home to recreate it!

This wood wall was actually created using fencing—it’s only a few dollars per piece at your local home improvement store. This entire wall including painting cost less than $350!

Gray and Navy Nursery with Metallic Wood Wall

The Cody crib from Newport Cottages comes in a huge variety of finishes, and you can customize the colors for different parts of the crib. We left the front rails white to show off the crib set and framed the sides with dark navy panels.

Metallic Wood Wall and Oversized Monogram

I love the scale and color of these metal wall letters, and the deer heads perfectly frame the monogram and add a pop of metallic with their silver horns.

Design tip: Don’t be afraid to stagger your wall art. Layering adds interest to the wall, and I love the mixture of sizes, fonts and shapes in this gallery wall.

Hi Stacy, We actually don’t know the paint colors used since the wall was completed by an artist. Good luck on creating your nursery, and we hope you choose to share it on Project Nursery!

Looks like they want to keep the paint color a secret. So not worth $800. I will figure out something similar on my own and won’t go broke in the process.

How did you stick the fencing to the walls? Nail gun? How would you get that off when you redecorated?
