Okay, maybe it was just me, but as a kid, I remember Thanksgiving being dull. It didn’t help that I was a super picky eater who did not enjoy the traditional Thanksgiving meal (don’t worry, I’ve since come to my senses!). We have a bunch of fun ideas for making Thanksgiving fun for kids if any of your kids tend to find the holiday a little boring.
Create a teepee in your backyard if you live in warmer climates or inside for those of us in the chillier part of the country. Here’s a great teepee tutorial.
This adorable fruit turkey centerpiece doubles as a fun DIY project your kids can join in on.
A cute place setting with a fun activity is always a good idea.
Try a craft, all set and ready to go, to keep the kids busy while waiting patiently for the turkey to cook.
Or maybe even a snack to tide them over.
How about serving some pilgrim pudding pops for dessert?
Or these delicious pumpkin cheesecake pie pops!
And, of course, don’t forget to take some time out in the day to remember what your family is thankful for! We love this grateful wreath kit from Paper Source.
