Fall is just around the corner, and we’ve got Halloween on our minds! We’re all for traditional Halloween pumpkin carving, but sometimes it can be a bit too messy (and dangerous) with little ones. How about glittering pumpkins instead? It’s a cleaner, safer option, and we could all use a little more glitter in our lives, right?
We chose polka dots, chevron and traditional jack-o-lantern patterns for a more whimsical and modern take, but pumpkins will look fabulous in any pattern and color scheme you choose. And if you really want to up the sparkle factor, you can glitter the entire pumpkin!
Materials: Elmer’s glue, glitter, paintbrush, pumpkins
This is really so super easy to do using supplies you might already have around the house. Simply paint the glue onto the pumpkin in the pattern of your choice, sprinkle with glitter and let dry.
The great thing about glittering pumpkins (as opposed to carving them) is that you can keep them around for your fall and Thanksgiving decor. You can even make a Halloween party out of it and have little ghosts and goblins haunt your house for some spooktacular pumpkin glittering fun!
