Vote: August Party Finalists

Let’s hear it for the parties! Our gallery was filled with bright, bold colors, whimsical designs and creative themes this month—we’re very lucky to have such talented readers here at Project Nursery! Our team had a blast viewing all the parties, and as usual, we had a very hard time selecting our August party finalists. We finally narrowed it down to six amazing projects, and now it is up to you to decide which party will claim the prize. The winner will receive a $50 Visa gift card, courtesy of Project Nursery.

Flamingo Sip and See Dessert Table - Project Nursery

Flamingo Sip and See Party by nicciw
Kristin, of Project Nursery, says, “What a pretty in pink idea to use flamingos as the theme for a sip and see! There is a playful vibe to the sweets spread, especially with that polka dot cake and the beautifully designed flamingo sugar cookies.”

Farmer's Market Birthday Party - Project Nursery

Farmer’s Market Birthday Party by Kelly
Melisa, of Project Nursery, says, “What a great idea to recreate a farmer’s market in your own backyard as a party setting! Everything from the singer with the guitar to the bright sunflowers would have any child excited to experience fresh and healthy farm-to-table choices.”

Ready to Pop Baby Shower Dessert Table - Project Nursery

Ready to Pop Themed Baby Shower by shastanan
Pam, of Project Nursery, says, “I love the feminine and soft look of this party with all the food tying into the ‘ready to pop’ theme, like popcorn, pop tarts and lollipops. The upside down pink carnations add a lovely, unique backdrop to the setting, and it was all created on an economic flower budget.”

Winnie The Pooh Birthday Party Decor - Project Nursery

Declan’s Hundered Acre Wood First Birthday by Meg
Sabrina, of Project Nursery, says, “I always love seeing a classic children’s literature character—like Winnie the Pooh—turned into a party theme. This is a DIY celebration created with a lot of heart and soul.”

Doily-Inspired Party Decor - Project Nursery

Doily-Inspired Baptism and 1st Birthday Party by Jenny
Beth, of Project Nursery, says, “The dessert table and party decor are just so pretty. The doily inspiration is the perfect delicate touch for a combination baptism/first birthday party. The tissue paper pom garland and flower arrangements add just the right amount of color.”

Parisian Baby Shower - Project Nursery

Parisian Baby Shower by Carmen Navarro
Sabrina, of Project Nursery, says, “Having lived in Paris myself, I couldn’t help but fall in love with this gorgeous baby shower. The black and white canopy and those chic, Chanel-inspired pearls had me thinking, ‘Ooh la la, c’est magnifique!'”

Now it’s up to you to tell us which of these amazing parties is your favorite! Vote below, and please leave a comment because we’d love to hear why your pick got your vote. Voting ends on August 31st at 11:55pm PDT, and the winners of best room and party will be revealed on September 2nd. Winners will receive a $50 Visa gift card from Project Nursery. Good luck!
