She’s known for her line of accessories, footwear, apparel, handbags and jewelry, and fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff will soon be styling her second child. Affectionately nicknamed “Gouda” by her two-and-a-half-year-old son Luca, mom and her soon-to-arrive baby girl were celebrated at a surprise brunch-time shower at Fitzcarraldo in Brooklyn, New York. Rebecca Minkoff’s baby shower was hosted by some close friends with the help of Natasha Lawler from Minted and Rock Paper Scissors Events.
The shower’s lavender color scheme was inspired by one of Rebecca’s totes.
Some familiar faces shared their congratulations, including Zosia Mamet from Girls, Evan Jonigkeit from X-Men: Days of Future Past, style expert Erica Domesek, Editor-in-Chief for Lucky Magazine Eva Chen, fashion personality Andrew Beven and Fashion News Director for Teen Vogue Jane Keltner de Valle.
After brunch, guests enjoyed dessert from Babycakes and Treathouse.
Rebecca said, “Everything was so beautiful—the invites, flowers, photo backdrop, and the little flags that said Baby Gouda! I knew nothing before I arrived, so walking into Fitzcarraldo and seeing all the surprises, friends, family and decor was just amazing.”

Gorgeous shower with elegant and personal touches throughout. The lavender paired with natural and rustic elements works so well. Congratulations to Rebecca, Gavin and Luca. Can’t wait to hear the news when baby girl arrives. Thanks for sharing.
