Project Nursery has just returned from another incredibly fun, hot and sizzling night in Miami! We were there for Big City Moms’ “The Biggest Baby Shower Ever,” an event that we love, no matter the city or place, as we get to meet so many eager, excited expecting parents.
Big City Moms always does an amazing job hosting these fabulous showers—they are full of great shopping, yummy food, tasty mocktails and information on all the best vendors in baby gear, accessories and nursery furniture. Every baby shower we’ve attended is a smashing success and this recent visit to Miami tops our list as a favorite good time. Take a look at the pictures and you’ll see why!
We collaborated with Genius Jones, a wonderful baby gear and nursery furniture store in Miami, to design our space. The team at Genius Jones kindly let us borrow the Oeuf Classic crib, in a clean birch and white wood, along with the matching Merlin changer and the Grano Glider Recliner in a gorgeous ivory leather. These pieces were accented in the most perfect way with crib bedding and pillows by Oliver B. The total effect was stunning, and we salute the beautifully curated and on-trend collections that Genius Jones and Oliver B carry.
The incredible talent of Edible Details was on full display with the pink and green fondant toppers they created for our cookie display. As we were in Florida, the land of Lilly Pulitzer-inspired colors, Edible Details came up with these fabulously preppy pink and green fondants. They perfectly matched all of our awesome printables, designed by Paula Biggs, a party stylist and Project Nursery Design Expert, of Frog Prince Paperie.
In addition to all of this sweet fun, we decided to raffle off an Ergo Carrier to one lucky winner. It was also great to see our friend Esther, the blogger extraordinaire behind Buy Modern Baby. We want to thank everyone for stopping by and saying hi to us! We hope to see some of you at the next Big City Moms “The Biggest Baby Shower Ever,” which will take place in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 14th.
