Little Crown Interiors’ New Year’s Resolutions

At this time of year, we know we’re not alone in making some New Year’s Resolutions. As designers, the new year provides an opportunity to reflect on our goals and plans for the upcoming year. So, here’s a short list of our “Design Resolutions”—maybe they’ll provide a little inspiration for you too!

This year, we resolve to experiment with new neutrals.

We ask ourselves: must neutrals be a sad shade of taupe-ish beige?

This year, we resolve to create perfectly lit nurseries and children’s rooms.

This year, we resolve to take our love for unconventional color schemes to the next level.

Navy and Citrus was a fun color scheme for 2012! Wonder what we will get to do in 2013…

This year, we resolve to source fresh art, unique pieces and one-of-a-kind finds for our clients.

This year, we resolve to reflect more deeply on the amazing moments that happen every day in nurseries and child spaces and use those moments to foster further creativity.

Finally, this year, we resolve to share even more about the joy of designing child spaces with you. So from Little Crown Interiors to all of you, here’s to another great year of gorgeous projects from the design experts of Project Nursery and the ever-inspiring and truly wonderful Project Nursery readers. Happy New Year!
