Wild for Zebra Rugs

When it comes to nursery decor, animal themes have decided to grow up. Adding a touch of zebra to the room is a fun way to create bold, graphic statements that are always classic and timeless. When you don’t have a lot of room, a small hide rug is perfect under the crib.

The easiest place to take the zebra plunge is with small accents like area rugs, small ottomans or other home accents.

Zebra rugs can add some softness to the hardwood floors or can be layered on wall-to-wall carpet to create dimension and fun.

One way to soften the edges of the zebra look is to use it in a warm brown tone. The pattern is still classic in any color.

When you really want to add a unique statement, stick with a classic motif, just change the color—it works every time.

I can't quite figure out the shape of that zebra rug in the fourth photo. An animals with four front legs?

I love zebra stripes! But, of course, I prefer it in the usual black and white.

I think zebras are very beautiful creatures. I like them, too, but not in rug form :)
