Gift Idea for the World Traveler

Yes, Christmas is less than ten weeks away, and it still feels like summer in most of the country. I’ve been in Los Angeles, Fort Worth and Charleston all in one week, and the temperature has been the same—80-85 during the day and 65 at night. Is fall ever coming?

Regardless of the weather, the holidays are still upon us, and it is time to start thinking of those special gifts. I love these city block sculptures from Muji. Under $20 per city, they make great gifts for a friend who is a world traveler. They would look wonderful as a decorative item in a child’s room.

I actually want to have these and paint them bright and happy colors myself.

Hi Alison, I think that painting them would defeat the purpose. They are lovely enough as it is. Maybe with a a coat of varnish. Or perhaps you could color it white or any color that you have in your color scheme for your nursery.
