They say that the cobbler’s child never has shoes, so what happens when a nursery designer’s little girl is born? Well, it’s the opposite of the age-old proverb—this cobbler’s child gets the Louboutins of nurseries. We wanted to share some of the images and elements of Alessia’s little lady’s tiny nest.
Blending white, gray and yellow—with a cheeky pop of navy—we worked to create a space that was both calm and serene but also cheerful and bright. We hope that sweet and special dreams, as well as happy and precious memories, always fill this room.
1. Living in New York City, space is at a premium. The Stokke brand caters to the constraints of the city without compromising on design or functionality. The Stokke Sleepi was the first item added to our mood board.
2. Compact yet functional, the Stokke Care Changing Table holds everything you need in an easy to reach location.
3. When looking for yellow and gray wall art, the Positive Art Print by Honeyboo caught our eye, but the words captured our hearts.
4. The walls were brightened with Dove and Sunshine paint by Serena and Lily—and yes, we love the names of the shades as much as the colors themselves.
5. Throw pillows complete a nest; this labyrinth pillow by Dwell Studio brings an energy to the room, and the cloud-shaped pillow, from Blabla Kids, was bought in France with this little room in mind.
6. We love the Joya Rocker, and the luxurious feeling of the microsuede fabric eases the hours spent rocking in it.
7. Land of Nod’s “Not a Peep” crib bedding is both cute and calming, and we can’t help but hope that the name will encourage sleep.
8. We like the idea of continuing the stripes of the bedding at a larger scale in the Olin Gray Rug from Crate and Barrel.
9. Although the little one won’t be using the Tripp Trap Chair for a while, we love the rich, dark blue color. It’ll be used as a shelf until the little tush is ready to take its seat.

We are having our second child, and I’m so excited to see the two interact together. One of the best things about being a mom is hearing your little one say, “I love you mama”. Totally melts my heart every time.

My husband and I have been married for 7 years. Due to being born with a congenital heart defect, I have always been told that I should never have/carry children. As someone who adores children and has dreamed of motherhood since I was a child, this broke my heart.
Doctors can be wrong…God had another plan for us. I am due in October of 2012 with our first (and only) child- a baby girl. After discovering I was pregnant, I was checked out by all of my doctors and it seems that my heart is in the best shape it has ever been in.
My dream of becoming a mother is coming true and I still can’t believe it!!! :) What I’m looking forward to the most is the arrival of our little one. I can’t wait to look at her sweet face and know that she is ours and is truly our little miracle!

After 2 miscarriages, we are expecting our first child (praying daily). I can’t wait to be a mom because it seems to be one of the greatest gifts but biggest responsibilities bestowed upon us. The fun of continuing old traditions and starting new ones combined with the healthy fear of how to raise another human being, is a challenge I am cautiously looking forward to.

I think being a mom is special because they are uniques. They are brave, creative, loving, have time for everything, they are magical, their intuition rarely fails and most special is that no one can love us more than them. This is all I think about the most beautiful woman, my mother :). Now I plan to have my baby and I hope I can give her/him what she did for me.

No words can really describe the feelings I have about being a mommy. My daughter has become my greatest accomplishment in life. What I love most about motherhood is watching Leah’s reaction when she sees me. Her face brightens up the whole room and she gives me a big, toothless smile! Irresistible!
I am 12 weeks, and I cannot wait to be a first time momma! If I’m half the mother of my mom, I will be a lucky lady. I cannot wait to see the world through my child’s eyes. I LOVE the sweet smiles and hugs my daughter gives me!! The one thing that I looked forward to when I was pregnant with her is that she would want me to hold her and love on her:) It’s pure pleasure being a mom!!
I am 18 weeks pregnant and having a boy. I cannot wait to be a mom. I waited until my career as a lawyer was in full swing, partnership and all, to get pregnant. Now I can reep the rewards of being a successful woman with being mom. I am the first in my immediate family to have kids and the youngest. My two older sisters either cannot have kids or decided to not have kids, so I am it. My mom, who has never been the type to say “when are you gonna give me grandbabies” is so excited! My boyfriend will be the perfect father. Although not married yet, I know we will be so that part does not really matter to me. The part that matters to me is bringing my child into the world with a loving and awesome father, a nice home and established life. I cannot wait to take him to the beach, go hiking, swimming, camping and making sure he enjoys the outdoors as much as Matt and I do. I have a great group of friends that will love and spoil him as well. My life was pretty much perfect, but now it with a baby on the way, I can say it is absolutely perfect. We had a scare and had to do a CVS, but everthing came back normal and all signs point to a healthy baby boy! I cannot wait to be a mom!!
I can’t wait to have a little person to take out for activities, like going to the park or going to the beach.
I love the overwhelming feeling of love and joy when I see my son or when he smiles at me…
Liked you guys…of course.
I love to see my little toddler laugh at the silliest things and how excited he is in the morning when I come in to get him.

What I love most is seeing my little 1-year-old buddy’s face in the morning; I inevitably forget how beautiful he is, how angelic his features are, and how pure his expressions of joy are. It’s a surprise every day to see how he is growing and changing – what a privilege it is to be a mom!
I am soon to be a mommy of three children, ages three and under. Motherhood is a true joy! And even though there are rough days… I know it is one of most important job I will ever have.
I love seeing how quickly she learns new things – every day! Also she reminds me to see the world through her eyes – and I am seeing things so differently now, and am much happier and able to live “in the moment”.
I am looking forward to meeting my baby and to see what it looks like. I think it’s crazy the way it’s a unique blend of both parents gene pool.
Can’t wait to make the leap from Auntie of little ones to Mommy. And I can’t wait for my sister to get the experience of being an Auntie.

Although I’m not a mommy yet, I’m finishing grad school and remodeling my home so that one day I can be the very best mom. All of my friends are pregnant at the moment….I mean ALL OF THEM and I look forward to the day I can become a mom. Winning this would mean the opportunity to express through design the way I feel inside. Thank you for the opportunity!

I would love to enter my sister Mindy Freeman. She’s due July 14 with her first and though they don’t have much money, I know she’s going to give that baby something far greater – unconditional love and and a ceaselessly devoted mother. For me, the best thing about being a mom is seeing how your children grow and change and it always chokes me up a bit when I see my children not just understand something I’ve been teaching them, but to make it a regular part of their lives by applying it daily because they realize that it is what is best for them.
The best thing about being a mother is having the bond I have with my daughter. Whether i bottle or breast feed her I know we connect with each other, she stares at me with a smile (no wonder she takes about an hour to eat). She is only 3 months old and has already developed a motherly like personality and attitude.
I am expecting my first baby Oct 1st and can’t wait to hold he/she in my arms.

The reason I love being a mother happened 10 minutes ago. My 11 months old son woke up randomly at 11:45pm, I go in and get him, and hold him tight, he looks into my eyes and touches my face gently with his fingers and slowly falls back to sleep. Through all the tantrums, messes, sleepless nights, moments like this make it all worth it. I love being a mother more than I have ever loved anything in this world. It is such a special job, and I treasure it daily.

I love being a mom, even when it’s really, really hard. I have a really challenging (but loveable, or course!) 9-year-old, and a sweet and adorable 1 1/2 year old. I would love to have even more. Being a mom fulfills me in a way that nothing else does. It’s hard to say why – I don’t think it’s something that can be described in rational terms. It just makes me feel like all the tedious and mundane activities of everyday, as well as all the joyous ones, are meaningful and important.
I’m looking forward to being a mom because i cant wait to hold my child for the for the first time. for one i will be a new mom and i want is best for my child!!!
I am 20 weeks with my first and just found out we are having a baby boy! I am so excited to hold him and watch him grow. I cant wait to decorated his room, because this is the first boy for my family for 5 generations!!!! I cant wait to see my husband and him be buddies :)

I’m looking forward to motherhood bringing out aspects of my personality or abilities that I never knew I had. Sometimes I worry about being able to handle everything and balance being a mom, wife, sister, friend, daughter, etc, but so many moms have said that you just kick into overdrive because you have to, and the responsibilities of being a mom are so important that you just don’t let yourself slack!

I am looking forward to motherhood bc it has already changed me for the better. I used to be a somewhat selfish and self centered person I think although I know that those around me would never agree with that because of my charity work but I think i was. I am already a more giving, understanding, and compassionate person so i cannot wait to see how I am after she is born. I think it will complete my process in making me the best human being i can be.

The best thing about being a mom is the pure unconditional love my heart feel for this tiny little human. Her smile can make gloomiest day dissapear. I’m 24 weeks pregnant with our 2nd daughter and I cannot wait to do it all over again!
Looking forward to seeing our family all together for the first time!
I became a mom, and a single mother, 9 weeks ago. There are too many incredible parts to being a mother, but I feel like my tiny daughter has made me a calmer, more loving person.
A very chic, kind friend of mine is 19 weeks pregnant and her husband was just laid off. So I’m entering this for her.
My first child is 5 months old now and it has been so amazing watching her grow, and learn and discover. She’s so beautiful and I am in complete awe as to how such a flawed person such as myself, could create such a perfect little person. I love being a mommy!

I love watching my kids learn new things. The other day I snuck up behind my 20 month old daughter and when she turned and saw me she jumped. Then said, “Mommy scare me” and laughed. We have never taught her that…it was so cute.
I am 34 weeks pregnant with my first lil miracle. i am having a girl and her name is Avalynn May!!! i am super excited to meet her. i know that she will be everything i have ever wanted.

I love being mom to my 2 girls, yes, even on those days where nothing seems to go as planned! I love being able to play and cuddle with them as well as teach and discipline them. I love how innocent and honest they are.
I’m overwhelmed with joy in expecting my first child!! Such an exciting time!!
I have always been so in love with my husband, since he is a cancer survivor, sharing a child is even more precious to us. I can’t wait to be a mom!
I Love everything about being a Mom .. I love when my baby wakes up and smiles at me or when she just wants to cuddle , I love when my 4 yr old draws me pictures or when she grabs a book and reads to me I love when my 6 yr old comes home from school and hands me the picture she painted or when she sings to me,I love when my 11 yr old plays with his baby sister its so cute to watch him or when he brings home his homework and does it without me telling him too ,I love when my 14 yr old gets a home run at his baseball game and or when he bring home his report card with all good marks & I love when my 19 yr old still asks me if she can go out or when she asks my advise on how her make-up is or if her outfit looks good But most of all I love watching them grow and Loving them like crazy cuz with out them i would be nothing they are my world
What I love most about motherhood…I never knew this tiny individual would impact my life so much. Even though this is my second child it feels as if he’s the first. My husband I and waited, due to his career with the Armed Forces, and 14 yrs after our first I feel so blessed. Each waking moment I look at my precious baby and realize there is no greater gift than being a mother. Every ache, uncomfortable feeling, nauseous feeling was so worth this little person who has graced me with his presence. I love the smelly daipers, nursing at 3am, spit ups on my blouse, the pee in my face and the poop on my pants. It’s all worth that wonderful smile at 9am in the morning gazing back at me when I say good morning baby boy.
Love every aspect of being a mom of TWINS!!!! I love there smiles there tiny everything I look forward of hearing them talk :)

Thanks to my thriving twitter account, I was able to alert the masses of the joys of Project Nursery, My Tiny Nest and Stokke –
Don’t want to brag, but I have done so about Project Nursery, My Tiny Nest, and Stokke on their facebook walls.
I’m most looking forward to those moments at two am after the crying and the eating, and the diaper change, when I can sit in the rocker snuggling my baby in the quiet of the night. That and getting to hug them at their high school graduations.
Ironically, I didn’t have to pin something today, I already have items from Project Nursery! Love their images! http://pinterest.com/pin/105060603777536937/
The best part of motherhood has been seeing a little marshmallow grow into a personable little man. Learning about him and his budding self. Learning and seeing my husband through new eyes and learning how to grow myself to be the best version of a mom, wife, and friend I can be. The hard times can result in better versions of us all!

I didn’t grow up with a mother so becoming a mother brought all the love that I had hidden inside out. The great thing about being a mother is to realize what a blessing and how lucky I am to be a mom, especially since I was told I probably couldn’t conceive. I always thought “I would be a great mom” but I realize now that I am a great mom because of the love of my child. We are expecting another baby now and I look forward to learning more from my kids.
I repined the giveaway (under kickSprout)
What I love most about motherhood are those moments where time just stops, or feels like it stands still, and all that matters in that perfect moment is you and your child. Whether its swinging on the swings together, cuddling on your lap, big giant hugs… those moments of pure euphoria. That’s what I love. …. i’m a subscriber to your newsletters too.

I’m not a mom yet but I am incredibly excited to meet my little one when he or she arrives! I am looking forward to everyday miracles that comes with raising a baby.
motherhood….waking up everyday to an everchanging, always smiling, little angel from up above. best gift in the whole world. Xo
I find the greatest joy in being a Mom in all the little things you never expect. Overhearing my little boy playing with his racecars, making up little adventures for them and mimicking my voice as he tells the little cars to “be nice and share” with each other. Waking me up at 6am with little kisses on my face. Or watching him sing along to commercials as I have done my whole life. Those little moments bring me the most joy in life.
Looking most forward to snuggling my baby girl. One more month! Can’t wait for her to be here already
I am looking forward to meeting my baby boy and the years ahead as a family :)
I love love love being everything about being a Mom to my beautiful baby girl.
She is my dream come true after longing to be a Mom for so many years.
I’m expecting our 1st little one in August. It’s a girl and we’re extremely excited. But what makes it all that much more exciting is that I have started designing garments for babies and we want her to be the first to wear her mommy’s designs. She’ll be our model at our launch. She’s all the incentive I need to make the best products I can for her and all the other special little babies out there.

The best part about being a mom is the laughter. My daughter is so funny and sarcastic at 2 1/2 that she finds humor in any situation.
Motherhood? I love making my kid smile! When they light up at seeing me, from the baby to the 6 year old, makes me feel special and like the most important person in the world..until daddy comes in the room. :) I love seeing them get excited when they learn new things and tell me all about it. They brighten my day just as much as I brighten their’s. They truly are my sunshine, and I never want to see a “cloudy” day.

My favorite part about Motherhood is the way my 5 month old’s face lights up when she sees me. Having that unconditional love from a child is pricless.
What I love most about motherhood is the hugs, kisses, snuggles, and “I loves you”s at bedtime.
While I am not a mother, I am an expecting first time father! I am entering this contest for my wife who is an amazing woman and someone who will be an awesome mother to our children! She deserves to win this giveaway because she puts up with me! haha Honestly though, my wife has the biggest heart I know and is first to offer her help in any situation. She is a trustworthy friend, loving wife, and caring aunt/sister/daughter. I have never been around newborns and have had anxiety about my parenting skills with our daughter. She has been nothing but encouraging and supportive of me and I know that I will always have her to help me and work together in raising a intelligent and beautiful baby girl! Thank you!

Though I relish the sleep I do squeeze in at night, I look forward to those first peeps from my 14-month-old son’s room every morning. Then it is on to a few minutes of good snuggling and playing in my bed before getting the day started. This is, without a doubt, my FAVORITE part of the day! When thinking about him, I often look back on these special morning moments, his smiling face, and goofball antics. As a stay-at-home momma, I feel so fortunate to spend such a large amount of time with him, and have enjoyed him so much that it is now on to number 2- a baby girl due in September! I can’t wait to share these moments with her, as well.

This collection is amazing! I have a 6 month old daughter named Chloe, just moved out of my ex’s and in with my parents for a while so we could definitely use some furniture! My favorite part of being a mother is having someone that loves me from the moment we met. A pure love is always amazing. Of course there are her facial expressions that drive every mother wild since she’s so expressive with her eyebrows. :) I do a lot of volunteer work and see a lot of kids less fortunate and disabled and it’s a real humbling experience. I use those memories most during 3 am feedings :) Pick me! Pick me!

motherhood is the biggest challenge I’ve ever endured. Each day I’m pushed to the limit and brought to a new edge. I grow each day with my son. The more time we spend together, the more the flow of relationship improves and strengthens. The nuance of day to day, the little exchanged looks, the unsaid understanding is simply beautiful. Kai is 20 months old and we are expecting our 2nd son in August ON Kai’s 2nd birthday! It’s such a beautiful journey, so many humbling unknowns and I look forward to the rest of my life with these boys by my side.

When I was a little girl I swaddled my dollies and went on walks with my carriage around my neighborhood. I always knew I wanted to be a Mommy, and now I am blessed to become one. I would love to enter my wife. She is a fantastic mom to our 3 kids and is pregnant with our 4th right now. She works so hard! She makes home cooked meals for us. Cleans the house. Keeps our kids clean! Does laundry. Takes care of the dishes most of the time. Helps out in the barn each morning! (Including bringing me a hot egg sandwich for breakfast out there.) And she even mows the lawn. I don’t know what we’d do without her! Although I do like to give her a little bit of a hard time since I only get about 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night and she gets 7! LOL.
Motherhood gives me a definite purpose to raise someone to be the best they can be to others and in life.

I’m pregnant with baby #5, and I love motherhood (and pregnancy) more each time I go through it. I’m looking forward to meeting my new little one this summer. I’d love to win this contest because we had a house flood a few months ago, and my entire house was ruined (including all my baby gear and clothes).

I just love having someone who loves me no matter what! My 14 month old wakes me up every morning with a big kiss on my lips and says “muah!” That’s one of my favorite things!
I love so much about being a mother; despite the occasional long, hard, patience trying days there is always a little one there to hug and kiss you at the end of the day and love you unconditionally.
I love the smiles that I receive everyday from my children! Thank you!

I’m a new momma to be and I’ve been most moved by the realization so far that while I may be taking care of my little on inside me, protecting her and helping her grow to be healthy and strong, she at the same time has been taking care of me, encouraging me to grow and be a better person each day so I can be an example of goodness and joy in the world. I’m most looking forward to seeing how this relationship of us taking care of each other continues to grow. Happy Mother’s Day!
I’m looking forward to watching our baby experience uninhibited joy!

I can’t wait to be a foster mom and provide a place for a baby to just play without worries. :) Thanks!
I am looking forward to so many things in motherhood including understanding the meaning of “a mothers love.”
what i love most about motherhood, is that i had a life changing relization, in that i never knew how much i needed this little man in my life until he came. when i look at him, it’s as if i am staring deep into greater than i can explain or even comprehend really. to say i wasn’t really “living” until he got here, would fall short of really being able to describe it. it’s more like, having him healed up every part of any hurt in my life- that has ever exsisted within me…any hurt that was already there before I was even here. he cleanses me in a way that would of never made sense until i met him. :)
I liked Stokke and Project nursery on FB. I am looking forward to being a mommy – I have always wanted to have kids! Happy Mother’s Day.
I want to enter my sister, Christina. Not only will she be a first time MOM, but she is also a special education teacher for grades K-6 at a disadvantaged school. She works so hard for her students and puts in 12 hour day, she has made such a big difference in so many lives. Her husbad is also a teacher and there salaries together would never seem to be enough to be able to buy anything this cool! She still doesn’t know the sex of her baby but this combo would fit great for either. I am so proud to call her my sister. I have subscribed to PN and I will have her too. I have also re-pinned this awesome post!
Even though I’m not due until September, what I like about motherhood so far is that I have never felt so much purpose on this earth until we found out we were pregnant with our little jewel.

I love being a mommy to my two little boys. Even through they get into shenanigans like sticking Lightning McQueen die cast car in the microwave (true story), or climbing on the counters to find leftover cupcakes, or deciding to redecorate their room during “quiet nap time” by stuffing clean socks into all the crevies and corners they can find. They find new ways to surprise me with their creative attempts to entertain themselves on a daily basis. We love them so much we want to adopt more kiddos.
Love your crib. I worked for a lady that had one, but much too expansive for us. Would love to win it

Since getting married in September 2009, my husband and I have experienced pregnancy losses at 7 weeks in 2010, and at 19 weeks in 2011. I am now 21 weeks pregnant and due at the end of September. The overwhelming joy I experience each time this sweet baby girl moves inside of me, makes me sing “rock a bye belly” to my belly! I feel as though I am changing already, and sometimes cannot believe the Hope I am filled with. I desire to honor our 2 little angels somehow in this baby’s nursery, and to really finally be free to get excited and plan for the arrival of our baby girl.

I am going to become a mommy Nov 6th. I absolutely can’t wait! I love feeling the little flutters on my belly already! I also love having late night talks to my baby with my hand on my belly. I can’t wait until each dr appointment so I can see my sweetness on the screen and aww see the precious one! It just melts my heart. I could stare at the screen for hours on end! Having a child is a love I never knew. I am very thankful I get to experience this! Although I am extremely nervous because I am going to go through this journey as a single mother. I know I will make it as long as I keep God on my side! He doesn’t put you through any situation he knows you can’t handle!
I am actually going to become a mommy November 6th. I already love feeling the flutters and just laying down at night and chatting to my sweet one. It’s a love like I’ve never known! I have heard people say that several times and I have always wanted to experience that love in my life – now I can! I am looking forward to finding out the sex of the baby and seeing that sweet face on the screen. This will be my first child and I am completely nervous about being a single mother. But I will make it through this with God on my side!

What a privilege its been to be a mom to my 5yr old daughter and what a miracle it is to be carrying a second child.i have not taken motherhood for granted, in fact i am almost afraid to blink in fear of missing out in this special journey. My daughter’s giggles make my day especially through 4 simultaneous miscarriages we had to endure before finally been blessed with this pregnancy. My heart goes out to that woman who lacks a child as i have not done anything special to deserve such a blessing. I am simply lucky and honored to be dwelling amongst heaven sent angels. Happy Mother’s Day to all moms and moms to be!

Being a mom makes me so happy. I love my kids with all my heart. I love they’re trust in me and how they make me want to be a better person. They are so sweet and innocent, I just hope I can be all they need me to be.
I never thought I would have kids – it just wasn’t a priority for me alongside of work and my personal goals. Now I realize my child will round out my family and be, truly, a welcome addition. Love grows, it doesn’t have limits! I feel so lucky to have this opportunity to expand my family and to have learned this lesson early enough to be able to change my life path.
What I love most about motherhood?
Poopy diapers.
3AM feedings.
Two-year-old temper tantrums.
Eight-going-on-sixteen attitudes.
Oh wait…what I MEANT was:
Those moments you share with your infant child just staring at one another.
When their little hands wrap around your finger.
When your toddler looks up at you while you’re doing your make-up and says with a smile, “mommy looks pretty.”
When your eight year old feels confident enough to share all of her secrets with you.
When your children randomly do or say something that let’s you know that they adore you.
Nothing compares to motherhood.
I love watching my kids grow. I love snuggling and caring for them.

If I win these items will go to my son and daughter in love! they are expecting their first child (a GIRL!) in Sept. She will be our first grandchild! They would love these products-they are so pretty and functional and I know they would love them!
I am most looking forward to finally holding that little baby in my arms and knowing that all of the hardships of pregnancy are worth it. I am so eager to know what our baby will look like and become to be. I am very excited for motherhood.

What warms my heart the most as a mom is when my daughter sees me and yells ‘mommy mommy’ as she runs toward me to give me a hug. Its the best feeling in the entire world. Watching her grow is amazing and I cant wait to see who she grows up to be. As long as she doesn’t grow to fast!

What I like most about being a mother is the fact I know my heavenly father has gifted these boys to us and entrusted us and I get to watch them grow and be molded by Him into little men who want to serve as he did. That is an honor and I feel so unworthy to be given these gifts. Its amazing how having children can teach you a lot about God and his nature towards us. This is what I love most and I am so thankful they have also been vessels in nh life to help me shape my life for the better.

my nursery is small so i would love these pieces of furniture for mothers day!!
This is mine and my husband’s first child and such a miracle. I was told I was infertile, but we didn’t believe that whatsoever, knowing that we could conceive. Lo and behold, after just a couple of months of trying, we were blessed with little Baby C (our nickname for our baby). It has been a tough pregnancy too with bed rest, severe morning sickness and everything else an expectant momma can go through, so again, this baby is definitely a miracle!
As I am learning all that I can on what items we need, what I need to prepare for both physically and emotionally, this prize would be such an amazing gift for our first child! I have been searching for great decorating ideas and items, and these are absolutely beautiful and precious. I get overwhelmed thinking about our child coming into this world and taking care of him or her in a nursery with these items.

I love that my little girl has chosen me to be her mum to share with her what is sure to be an exciting journey as she grows, to be there to help her along her way & to be open and accepting to learn what she has to teach me. I love how she makes me feel like I’m the most important person in the world to her. I love how she beams at me in the morning when she wakes up & calls for a cuddle. I love how she gazes intently at me as we talk about what we are going to experience during our day, then lets out a squeal of delight. I love how she plays with my face when we sit & read our story books. I love to watch her explore her big wide world with complete fascination at things like the leaves on the trees blowing in the wind, shadows that are cast on the ceiling and our puppy running round & round chasing her tail. I love that final snuggle at the end of the day after she has her bedtime feed, the feeling of complete trust that I’m holding her safe from everything else. I love it when my husband and I sneak into her room after she is fast asleep & look on in amazement that we have created someone so lovely and pure and innocent and sweet. I love being a mum !!

In the process of transitioning the nursery to a “big girl” room. Winning the contest would be so great for my ‘Baby Bug’!
The one thing I love most about being a mom , is knowing that every single day when I wake up, I get to love and care for those two little angels that God has blessed my life with!
I absolutely adore Stokke. We have the grey sleepi cot and care table in my 14mth old son’s room and now we are expecting number two I can think of nothing more exciting about decorating another nursery than the prospect of another beautiful Stokke cot.

What I love most about being a mother is reaffirming the simple pleasures in life: nothing in life so terrible that it cannot be solved by a decent nap, a warm cuddle or a sharing a giggle. I love that my son teaches me to see things that one can so easily overlook: the fleeting beauty of a rainbow reflected in a bubble just before it pops, the anticipation of waiting for a big ‘BOO!’ the joy in learning a new word and repeating it over, and over again. One thing I did not expect – is how much being a mother makes me love my son’s father even more than ever – seeing how they interact together fills me with love for them both.
I am cannot wait this long to hold my little cub! I’m looking forward to having the uncinditional love of our little mini. Im waiting to watch our baby discover their world around us. 8 weeks to go. Until then these little kicks & stretches will get me through each day x
I love being a mom because there’s nothing more fun than watching my son discover the world around him. He has given me a new appreciation of things and helped me see things in a new way. He makes me smile regardless of how I feel and he brightens every day!
I am excited about decorating my nursery upon the arrival of my new baby around July 31st

I love the miracle of pregnancy and the moment you first hold your newborn is just precious. I love the cuddles, kisses, laughter, and smiles my daughter gives me. They are the greatest thing about being her Mom.

I can’t wait to teach my daughter to cook! I hope she loves it as much as I do.
i’m now a twitter follower! love that crib, oy vey!
What I love most about Motherhood? It’s hard to narrow that down to one answer. It’s the smile and kiss good morning. It’s the greeting I get each and every time with a run and a big hug. It’s the knowing how I am responsible for this little life and how he imitates and learns what I am teaching him. It’s the everyday small things that make me smile, and often times, tear up. Being pregnant with my second child has brought all the joyful feelings without all the worry because this time around I know what to expect and I know I am going to fall in love all over again the minute I see her. Although I do often wonder how it is even possible that I could love anyone as much as I love my son, but I know, somehow, it will happen. I just can’t wait to meet her and introduce her to her big brother.

My wife and I just brought home our first child, a boy, home from the hospital 6 days ago. She has made my life whole in so many ways and now after 7 years of marriage we’ve added a child and completed it. She is so amazing, I know that term is used too often, but she is.
Since this is our first baby, what I’m looking forward to most is holding this tiny little human for the first time. The sheer magnitude of knowing there is a baby forming inside me is staggering and I can’t wait to meet this little guy or girl (we’re not finding out the sex) come November!
This is our first baby and we are so excited! I can’t wait to meet the baby, hold him/her and just love the baby for the rest of my life. I also can’t wait to start the next journey with my husband in our lives.
Here’s how we shared the announcement with our family:http://www.whitetablestyle.com/2012/05/ellens-little-announcement.html
I’m most looking forward to snuggling with my baby everyday!
I’m just looking forward to seeing her face and holding her for the first time!

The most exciting thing about motherhood is looking into your child’s eyes and feeling that overwhelming sensation of unconditional love and support for them. It is such an amazing feeling to know that you are responsible for this life that you are going to help grow, flourish and one day, fly. Being pregnant with my 2nd now only makes these feelings surface much earlier, from the moment of conception!
there is nothing like being a mom, watching them grow and seeing what they can accomplish
also, I’m already a weekly newsletter subscriber – thx
I’m super excited to meet my new baby girl and to watch her personality grow. My husband is going to be the best Dad and I just cannot wait to see the bond form between them. Happy happy! :)
I have three adopted children and a bun in the oven, and what I love about being a mom is how everything is constantly changing and moving! Nothing ever stays the same and every time you turn around you are buying bigger clothes!! Those moments when your sweet babies understand what you have been trying to teach them and when you are sitting on your back porch thinking about how the view from outside looking in on your family is the one you love the most!

There are so many things I enjoy about being a mother and motherhood. I feel like life has a new purpose and I only hope to do my best and right for my children. I guess the thing I like most is a sense of renewed energy and a desire to learn through a new set of eyes.

I love the constant discovery. I am always learning something–about my children, about the world and about myself. Motherhood improves me; as I work at being a better mother, I am becoming a better person.
I am looking foward to the new experiences that my little one will bring me and to be able to watch he/she grow into an amazing person.
Jennifer Best,

I am 19 weeks and I cant even tell you what I am looking foward to the most because I am excited for it all. My husband is in the military and deployed for the whole pregnancy so I guess my biggest excitement is that he will be home for everything afterward and we will be able to see our child grow together.

I cannot wait for the cuddling! My manbeast and I are currently TTC, so I’d give this to my sister who’s due on the 17th. It’s their first (and my first niece!) so this would be a perfect gift! It would definitely give her a confidence boost, because she’s getting to that “why am I doing this again?!” phase.
I look forward to holding my baby after she/he wakes up from a nap and wants that sweet “sweaty baby” post nap cuddle time. I am adopting from Ethiopia and have been paper ready for 16 months! I have not started on a nursery until i know the age and gender of my baby.

I am most looking forward to my son calling me mommy and being able to finally hold him in my arms! This is my first child and I am very excited. I absolutely can not wait to meet my little man!
I have so many strong, beautiful & loving women in my life. Most recently, a lot of them have just given birth or are currently pregnant. My close friend is due with her son in July and she has been so calm during her pregnancy and always doing things for everyone else even though she is the one growing a baby! She always puts herself out there to support others and never asks for anything in return. I want this mother’s day to be special for her and just her! She deserves it. Can’t wait to see her be such a fabulous mother.
Motherhood has exceeded all expectations. I love the simple joys it brings me everyday!

Trying to describe what I love about motherhood is like trying to describe the feeling when I first felt my baby kick. You just can’t exactly put it into words because the feeling is so great and new to me. I am looking forward to just looking into Avery’s eyes and feeling that sense of connection that she knows I’m MOM. I can’t wait to sit in her room and have tea parties and just hearing her infectious giggles. I want her to be her own person and explore her surroundings and learn new things by trying everything her heart desires.

I have been a babysitter since I was 15 years old.. I am now 23 and expecting my first child in November. After all these years of taking care of other peoples children, I can not wait to finally watch my own child grow. I will be raising this child on my own and that is probably the thing I look forward to the most. The reason being is that when my baby is all grown up and knows the situation I am in, he or she will understand the choices and sacrifices I’m making. I want my child to learn from my experience and be an even better person because of it.

The thing I love most about motherhood is seeing the world through their eyes!!! As an only child- a latchkey kid at that- seeing my two kids share this amazing bond (and their elation over our impending third baby- a surprise), is the most rewarding thing ever!!!
The moment I am most looking forward to about being a mother is when I see my child realize the right thing to do and then do it. I will, at that moment, know that all the encouragement, instruction, and re-instruction have been sinking in.

What I love most about motherhood is that you get to be the first one to see or be part of their first things in life; their first smile, their first laugh, their first step, etc! Being a mother of two, 21 months old and a 10 weeks old, it is exiting and full of joy to be part of their first things :)

I’m currently 4 months pregnant with my second child and I love every moment of it. But the best part is when my 4 year old daughter puts her head on my belly and sings to the baby. The baby always kicks when she sings and just the smile on my daughters face is more than words can explain. It is amazing!!!

There are always days when you wish being a mom could take a backseat to thousands of other things you’d rather be doing, but I ALWAYS love my kids and love the quiet times when we are just reading or coloring together. With 2 boys, I’m kind of looking forward to a quiet moment or 2 snuggling her in the Joya Rocker or watching her sleep in the Stokke Crib~ heavenly.

I am 7 months pregnant with my first baby. After a long time seeking a baby and three mis-carrieges I cannot say how much this moment has meant for me. Every second is a pleasing, every kick my baby boy gives me is a reminder that their is life growing inside and that soon I will be honored to be called mom. If I would have to pick one thing I’ve enjoyed the most about this period in my life is feeling, for the first time, my baby kick. It’s an indescribably joyous feeling and only one that an expecting mom can experience. I am looking forward when I can finally hold my baby in my arms and tell him while looking into his eyes how much I love him.

We’re expecting our first (a baby boy) in late summer, and we’re overjoyed. With this blessing, this Mother’s Day holds extra special significance, not only for me, but for my mom, whom I can’t wait to see holding her first grandchild.
Thanks for this great giveaway! Project Nursery is such a wonderful source of inspiration and ideas.
I am most excited about motherhood because it is a new step for both my husband and I in a good direction!! The last year and a half has been a hectic one for us with lots of bad news. My husband was injured in Afghanistan and we went through 18 months of rehab before making the toughest decision of having his leg amputated so he would be able to walk again. We have spent so much time trying to rehab and get back to a normal life and were finally blessed with the wonderful news that our first child is on the way!! We couldn’t be more happy and can’t wait to have our little one with us!

My friend, Erin is about to be a mom for the third time, but she has not had a baby in 11 years! She has chosen to expand her family and she is the best mom ever! Her husband is a third grade teacher and she stays home for the kids, so they have a very limited income. ( you know how little teachers are paid.) they are starting from scratch with this baby and will need all the help they can get! This would be an amazing surprise!!!

I never realized how much you can love someone until I had my daughter. She makes me sooo happy, I would do anything for her in this world. I just wish I could protect her from all the bad thing this life might bring.
I admire my daughter for her motherly love and care towards her children. She has grown to become a caring, giving and nurturing mother, and it makes me very proud.
My wife is a wonderful wife and Mom. We have 3 boys, and I don’t what we would alldo without her. We try to treat as the queen of the castle that she is because she loves her family so much and keeps giving all she has to make sure her family misses nothing. I love her so much.

I love when my 9 month old smiles at me. HE has a way of resting his head on my shoulder and grabbing my hand that just melts my heart!
I love when my very active 2 year old, who doesn’t sit still all day, gets in my lap to read stories at the end of the day. He’s so quiet and attentive during this time! I’m looking forward to experiencing this with my new little one due next week!

I’m due with my first in October and cannot wait to meet this little person growing inside me. What I’m looking forward to most at the moment is when I can finally feel the little peanut moving around inside me! Should be any day now!! We’re starting the nursery very soon and this would be a great way to begin!
Now following on twitter @frankenduck and tweeting about it happily.

i love the joy that motherhood brings to my life!
We are expecting our first child after being together 13 years. This experience is one, that I wasnt sure I would ever experience. We are over the moon with joy. I can not wait to share all this love that I have to give. I am looking forward to drawing with chalk on the sidewalk, baking chocolate chip cookies, going to the movies, going to the beach and teaching my child to swim but most of all holding my baby in my arms, and being in awe of the miracle we created.
What an incredible giveaway! I love that my five-month-old lights up whenever she sees me.

The thing I love most about motherhood is easy, the endless love given and received between my son and I. It’s also pretty empowering to realize with each new things he learns that I am helping to mold him into an amazing person and that I actually grew him inside me! Seeing my husband with our son is also a special brand of happiness in itself.
The thing I love most about being is a mum to my now two year old daughter (and soon to be mum of 2) is that no matter what’s going on in our lives Elke will always need us. She has also taught me how to love my own mother in a way I never knew before. I find it hard to imagine the joy two babies will have on our lives. What an overwhelming feeling that we (mothers and fathers of children) are able to experience. Bless.
Being married for 3 years plus couldnt wait to add to our family cant wait to go on trips with my baby.
I can’t wait to read books to my baby and rock him/her to sleep!
After teaching elementary school for seven years, I am excited to have a child of my own! I have never felt more excited to meet anyone! This little life that my husband and I have created already feels so loved and important by so many. Every day we pray over this little miracle, still in disbelief that we were so lucky to be given this gift! I am looking most forward to shaping and molding this child into a person who loves life and embraces it all. I want to turn every day experiences into fun learning opportunities and show our child that life is truly a miracle to never be taken granted. Last year, we survived a tornado. This year we will celebrate the birth of our first child and cherish every moment!
Being a mother is by far the biggest blessing that I could have imagined I would be in receipt of. Every day I wake up with excited faces of my gorgeous and growing children, and each night they are tucked in their beds and I walk away filled with so much love and joy. Being a mother was a life changing experience 5 years ago, 3 years ago, and now, I am pregnant with our 3rd! I love that I am able to teach my children my passions that I am able to embrace their own passions for life and I am blessed to share in the role with my incredible and supportive husband. Being a mother is the best thing that has ever happened to me!!

Had I seen this last month, I’d have moved wistfully on. After ten years, we gave up hope on even the adoption process and started planning the rest of our life. Then came the phone call and in two weeks I will finally become mother to a baby daughter. What do I most look forward to? All of it.

I love watching my daughters grow and learn new things, knowing that I’m playing a huge role in their lives. Being a mother definitely keeps me on my toes because I know that they are watching me and I need to be the best person that I can be for them!
I love that I’m finally able to say that I’m a mom. After many years of TTC and being a nanny and former educator, I now get to love and care for MY own baby. I’m grateful for the blessings of motherhood because holding my daughter is the best feeling in the whole wide world. I can say that my heart is complete now that she is here. Anything else is just icing on the cake!

My baby girl is 5.5 months old and I love watching her change every day. My favorite thing in the world is cuddling with her after a long day of exploring the world together.
What I like most about motherhood is seeing my kids grow from tiny babes into little people with their own humor and laughter and personalities. They bring life and love in our home. By the way I followed PN and S on twitter, cant seem to get the other one.
I’ve “liked” both pages on FB (Jack Sarah) and left a comment under the giveaway! What a wonderful prize…I’m in love with the color scheme!!!
I love being a mom. It is an experience unlike any other to have a child and see them growing up and learning and developing personality. To see bits and pieces of myself, my husband, my brother, parents, in-laws and seeing all the little similarities that make my daughter like them, but still being a unique individual.
My favorite thing about motherhood is:
I simply love every moment that my daughter is around me. She just makes every experience more real and meaningful even the mundane.
I’m stokked!! haha

I love motherhood! It is yes one of the hardest jobs if done efficiently but the rewards outweigh any sacrifices made! My children are my joy and delight and I am so thankful for each one!
I’m a first time mother and though some days are tough, seeing my smiling baby’s face makes when we wake up, and before we go to bed makes it all worth all the hardships that come with parenthood. The saying is totally true – you don’t know true love until you’re a mother!

my niece is about to become a mother for the first time. It will be my first great-nephew! I’m so excited for her.. she’s a social worker who just got her masters degree and i’m so proud of the woman she’s become. I know she will be a wonderful mother!
My little girl is a month old today…she was brought to us nearly a month early! What I love most about being a mom is everything. Watching her change everyday and watching the way her dad interacts with her. Even with all the sleepless nights I still wake up with a smile on my face and ready to do it all over again. She makes me feel like a super mom. I didn’t know my life could possibly get any better but I was so wrong…the day she entered my world was the day it became hers.

My children bring me such joy. I love that there are 4 little people who love me unconditionally and watch my every step. They make me want to be a better person and look forward to each day with a smile on my face.
I am currently expecting my first child, and I am looking forward to seeing my husband as a father!
I cannot choose just one thing I love about motherhood as each day brings something awesome (and sometimes challenging:-))
Children are definitely the reason I exist, I can tell you that much! They truly do complete me.

My favorite part of motherhood is the sheer joy my kids bring to my life. They can make me feel so loved and needed. And most importantly they constantly remind me how important it is to have a great sense of humor! (my 2 year old is real mischievous and being able to laugh about it helps get me through the days!)

I love most about being a mom is the everyday “I love you’s” and the hugs and kisses. Seeing the smile on my baby girls face and hearing her laugh. Knowing that when she’s upset a hug and kiss can do wonders. Being told that I’m the “Best Ever” always makes me smile and giggle at the same time. I love being a mom because I get to watch my baby grow and learn and become her own person.

What I love most about being a mom is the every day moments I get to spend with my kids, snuggling, hearing I love you, and random hugs.
The innocence of watching a baby grow and learn and discover, is the most amazing experience.
We just adopted a little boy from Russia. What I love most about motherhood is that I no longer put myself first, or even in the top running. I want to give everything I can to my beautiful baby, and realize tht from now on out, a piece of my heart will always be living outside my body.
My favorite thing about becoming a soon to be mom is knowing no matter what is to come I will love my baby girl more than I have loved anything in the world. Its crazy to think I already love something I havent got to meet yet.
I love seeing the person my son is becoming, the sweet stuff like hugs and “I love you”. And now that I’m expecting #2, it is especially sweet when my son rubs my belly and says “that’s my baby sister”.
The feeling of love in my heart each time I look at my boys!
We are so excited to cuddle and read to our daughter.

One of the best parts about being a mom is having 2 little smiling munchkins to go home to everyday – those smiles just warm my heart and make any day that much brighter :)
It’s taking my husband and I a little longer than we thought getting pregnant but hopefully it will happen very soon. The thing I most look forward to about motherhood is just sharing my life with a little joyous baby and having pure love smile at you.

My favorite thing about being a mother is really hard to narrow down. I guess i would have to say watching my two kids little personalities develop. They are both so different and it is a beautiful thing to watch them as they turn into amazing people…I get to see this from start to adulthood and I cherish every second of it! I have so much love for them it is overwhelming!
