The last time Pam and I got together we answered a few reader questions. First up, Susie of Allentown, PA asks us about creating a soothing, gender-neutral nursery palette. Thanks to our friends at NoJo, we had the opportunity to share our suggestions…

I just had my second baby, which we weren’t sure was a boy or girl, so I created a gender neutral room with gray walls and pops of bright color. My brother is expecting twins later this year, and I know my sister in law would love the Jungle Tales set.
I’m a subscriber too.
I would compliment the cool greens in this set with soft lighting, textured subtle wallpaper and have soft soothing music playing for my little guy.

I am a weekly subscriber and I would love the opportunity to win this crib set! I think it makes for such a fun, yet tranquil room. It’s very whimsical but doesn’t overstate anything. It’s the one that I picked out at Babies R Us, but we registered for it because we are on a very limited budget and have to prioritize what to buy first.

I would create a soothing nursery by hanging up wall decor for baby to look at. I love decorating with family photos, especially close-ups of faces since babies are usually fascinated by them.

Contests are great, and following is fun and easy, but asking people to broadcast it isn’t cool if they’re not ready to announce their pregnancies on social media. Just sayin’. I’ve seen similar contest run with simple shout outs in the comments…
