After the numerous nationwide recalls of various shades, KiddoSafe Shades realized there was a need for shades that are entirely cordless. With their patent-pending button closure design, they’ve found a way to allow you to raise your shade without the use of any strings or cords. You simply fold the shade up and attach the button to the loop on either side of the shade.
KiddoSafe Shades are customized to your window’s dimensions and come in a variety of fabric choices. If you don’t find that perfect fabric in stock, they allow you to choose from a larger selection of fabrics for a small delivery charge. All shades include a blackout liner—a must for any nursery. Every extra minute of sleep counts!
Their button closure design allows for one-handed operation, so even with your baby in your arms you will be able to raise and lower the shade.
WIN IT! One lucky Project Nursery reader will get their choice of any one of KiddoSafe’s custom shades up to 48″ wide in any in-stock fabric. (Each shade is custom made to the customer’s specifications and takes about 4-6 weeks to make.)
To enter, visit our friends at KiddoSafe Shades and share with us in a comment which fabric choice is your favorite. Contest ends Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11:59 PST.

I love the Richmond Bella/Cozy Twill. In our case it sure would turn the baby room into a very colourful one, allowing combination with other plain fabrics for the bedding, pillows, etc. Did all the steps.
Cheers.
