Design Board: Chase’s Black, White & Yellow Nursery

While we’re teetering on 10 months to get here, I just wanted to share that Chase’s (budget) nursery makeover is going nicely. We’ve painted, patched and taped over the past few weekends as a family. There’s nothing like having a 3 year old trying to paint along side you and a crawling baby at your feet. We survived and surprisingly, very little yellow paint hit the hardwood floors . So without further ado, here’s the low down on my latest design board for my now big baby Chase…

1. Frames: Natural Ribba picture frames to display photographic art

2. Paint: Chalkboard in black, Olympic’s zero-VOC interior paint in white (eggshell) and Behr in Macaw (eggshell)

4. Pendant Light: DWR Coral Pendant

5. DIY Roller Shade: Sofia small stripe fabric (Used packing tape and 2 yards of fabric to repurpose an old shade!)

20. Diaper pail: Testing out the new Diaper Genie Elite

Lots of additional details are still to be determined such as finalizing the custom crib bedding, art, shelving accessories, closet storage and how to convince my husband why I so desperately need that awesome, designer DWR pendant light! I look forward to sharing a few fun DIY tips next before the big reveal. Xo, M
