A Few Of My Favorite Things: Naomi Alon

The holidays are upon us and to get you in the spirit, we thought we’d share a little shopping inspiration from your friends at Project Nursery. Our team has rounded up the FIVE items they love, cherish, gift or simply can’t live without.

Naomi Coe is one half of the power nursery designing duo, Little Crown Interiors. True to LCI style, Naomi has a knack for finding unique products and may even get your kids to like their vegetables!

With the holidays quickly approaching, I thought I would give you a little sneak peak of some products out there that I have on my wish list.  Some are big, some are small, but they are all absolutely fabulous!

These Creatures Wall Hook

# 1.  Bird on Branch Deluxe Wall Hook by These Creatures These creatures makes funky, modern wall hooks and accessories that are pure eye candy.  All made of 12 gauge steel and powder coated with bright colors, these wall hooks will last.  I particularly love the Bird on Branch design because it would work in a boy or girl’s nursery.  The designs are so well thought out that even the screws for the wall are colored to match!

Vegetable Animals make great gifts

#2.  Enesco Home Grown Vegetable Figurines These adorable little “animals” are crafted using vegetable shapes.  There’s no better way to get your kids to love vegetables!  The great thing about these figures is that they can be used as decoration in the nursery, child’s room or kitchen.  They can also be used as educational toys.  Some of our favorites are “Banana Dachshund”, “Cauliflower Poodle”, and “Apple Elephant”.  At around $12 each, a few of these little guys would be the perfect gift!

Parker Chair by Jennifer DeLonge

#3. Parker Child’s Chair by Jennifer Delonge We had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer Delonge at the ABC Expo last month and her new collection knocked my socks off!  One piece in particular, the Parker Child Chair, was so perfectly crafted, so tightly tufted, and so velvety soft that I just had to try to squeeze into it.  Jennifer’s bold new fabrics give these traditional style chairs a contemporary feel, while promising high style to each one’s owner.

#4.  f. is for frank Pewter Hardware At Little Crown Interiors, we love to dress up old or vintage furniture with new hardware to give it new life.  Knobs are such a little thing, but they can dramatically affect the way a piece of furniture looks.  Whenever we come across a good hardware source, we are sure to bookmark it!  That said, f. is for frank is a staple in our internet browser’s memory.  Their designs are quirky, whimsical and all-around delightful, not to mention extremely sturdy and well made.  Check out their whole line for some great inspiration!

#5:  Terrell Swan Chandelier by Stray Dog Designs We are long-time fans of Stray Dog Designs as they always deliver fresh and innovative ideas for lighting and home decor.  Their whimsical nature makes them perfect for a nursery fixture and their fresh modern style will make you second guess getting another one for your bedroom!  This new design pops with bright apple green and budding flowers, and is also available in 16 different colors!  Happy day!

Well that’s it for now.  I hope you enjoyed these items from our vault of fabulous finds.  They are on my wishlist – now put them on yours!

The Frank Pewter hardware had me drooling. Very interesting, quirky pieces that would definitely spice up your furniture. I should include these in my wishlist, too.

The vegetable figurines are yummy. I actually thought they were real veggies. What are they really made of? Ceramic?
