Back-to-School Treats

Is your little one starting school for the very first time?!  If so, make the day special with a little party to celebrate this milestone event!

Every child needs a cute backpack to start the school year with!  They have their whole lives to wear plain, boring backpacks….now is the time to pull out the cute stuff! Layla Grayce offers the most darling collection of animal-inspired backpacks and then some this season.  Charming, colorful and the perfect size for your little one.

Backpack brands include our favorite Skip Hop, the popular knit Blabla (and you thought they just made dolls!), the always modern DwellStudio and many more!

The party planner in me however can’t help but suggest how you can make that first day of school special by baking cupcakes to celebrate the big day.  Take a cue from your child’s backpack to create a theme – whether it’s an owl, a bumble bee or a monkey.  No matter which you choose, you and your child will cherish the time together celebrating the first day of school!

I’ve been looking for a backpack for my daughter. The bumblebee bag looks really cute, and I think it’s so her. I hope they have a ladybug version, too. But to be honest, my eyes were not really on the backpacks but on the cupcakes.
