Have you ever found art so beautiful you want to go up and touch it? Whether it’s the texture, the colors, or just an appreciation for something truly unique, some art goes above and beyond. Here are some of my favorites from the Real Gallery.
Quinlan’s Room was so tastefully designed. The silver undertones lend to its mature and glam feel. These wall flowers look like they fell from a cherry blossom tree, a perfect accent to the designer’s choice of curtains. I love the dimension they bring to the simply painted surface.
Have you noticed how the colors from this Playful Pip room jump off the page? What I really like about these choices is how kid-friendly they are. The piece above the bed is composed of simple and bold lines and the fish decor mimics a finger-painting. What a great way to encourage your little artists to paint their own similar masterpieces!
How these Paper Dolls & Pom Poms made it to the frame with all edges intact is beyond me! Surely a vintage treasure, but good luck when your daughter is old enough to start asking for the dolls!

I LOVE the wall flowers shown in “Quinlan’s Room.” Any idea how to make/where to buy something like this?

Stephanie, the designer purchased them from Urban Outfitters. http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/urban/catalog/productdetail.jsp?itemdescription=true&itemCount=80&startValue=1&selectedProductColor=&sortby=&id=15156755&parentid=A_FURN_WALL&sortProperties=+subCategoryPosition,+product.marketingPriority&navCount=56&navAction=poppushpush&color=&pushId=A_FURN_WALL&popId=A_DECORATE&prepushId=&selectedProductSize=

I bought the same flowers (Umbra Flowers) at Bed Bath and Beyond for half the price (19.99) and Amazon.com also sells them for the 19.99! Just some other options if you didn’t want to pay the $40.00 price tag at Urban Outfitters.
