Real Parties: Zany Zoo Crafts

There is something about good ole glue that caputres the undivided attention of preschoolers. So when I caught photos of Galit’s party where her little friends had the opportunity to glue fun arts and crafts with their very own glue bottles, I thought mom Mica had an activity that would stick with me for future party planning.

Child’s name: Galit
Age: 3
Location: Home – West Orange, NJ

What is the theme of the party and why?
My daughter Galit’s loves animals and arts and crafts. Recently we took a family vacation to the San Diego Zoo and Wild Life Zoo. I decided to bring the zoo to her. We had a face painter that painted all the kids faces as different animals. Arts and Crafts projects that they created there own animal puppets and frames that had an animals theme. We took pictures of all the kids and I’m emailing them so they can put them in the frames.

Did you find inspiration from any particular photos or websites?
I was inspired by the creativity of moms.

Please share with us where you purchased your supplies.

What was was the most creative item you made for the party?
Animal cookies on the stick center piece as well as the glue for the crafts. Each kids had there own glue. They loved that they had there own and it was the right size.

Do you have any advice or tips for someone inspired to throw a similar party?
Think about what your kid likes and make it fun! There kids and the best part about them is there using there imaginations so we should use ours!
