The Modern Twin Trundle

The other week I asked if I should jump from crib to toddler bed or crib to twin. The responses on our Forum remain divided. I did however see a good question posted by CaliMommy: “I’m looking for a twin sized bed with a trundle for my toddler’s room. The style is more modern versus traditional. Ideally, I would like to find something in white or birch that is not too clunky. Any ideas? Thanks!”

Well CaliMommy, I am in the same boat and here are the three I am dreaming of…

The duc duc Alex Trundle Bed sold at Sleek, clean and comes with a snowboard/headboard design option in case your toddler grows up to become a shredder!

The beautiful Argington Aryres Trundle in birch (also available in white, red maple and ebony) seen at We like the casual casters which are ideal for making it over a high pile area rug.

So it’s not birch but this Nurseryworks twin trundle design is pretty sweet! It can be purchased at CSN Baby.

And finally, the most reasonably priced option comes from good ole Babies R’Us. A very good looking option that I would even consider spray painting??? hmmm…

As for the twin or toddler bed…What do you think? Feel free to voice your opinion here or better yet, on our forum!

I like the nurseryworks one, but spray painting the babies R us one is tempting too. I'm thinking orange or green and white?
