The Enchanted Forest of Wall Decals

Lately, the vinyl wall decal has been given a bad rap. I recently read some design blogs where readers expressed how they are totally over trend. Maybe it’s because they don’t have kids? Project Nursery believes you can’t beat the convenience and ease of removal they provide for your child’s room or rental home. There are so many wonderful vinyl wall decal creators and companies out there. I feel like I am discovering a new one almost daily, which makes the selection process incredibly difficult. The tree is a super gender-neutral design for any nursery or big kid room. Here’s a little tree decal roundup, and I am asking for you be the judge. Do you like them? Which one do you like best?

I love the decals, but think that if you really want to be creative painting your own mural is the way to go. We are having our first little one and using an inspiration room with a tree decal to start with…then we are adding in our own color choices and personal style. What better way to come together over something then painting a mural! I’m so excited to see the finished results. We will be starting this weekend on the actually painting part of the process! ☺

I love them all really, but 1,11, and 12 are the most striking. What I love about decals are their immediate and affordable ability to transform a space. This is crucial when we think of the growing child and how her/his room will likely see several changes.
