Knox’s Winter One-derland Party!

I love coordinating themes and colors, so it seemed obvious to throw Knox’s 1st birthday party in a woodland theme to match his room! Aquamarine is his birthstone, and the accent color for his party. I searched and searched for ideas to make as many food items as we could a part of the theme. We turned glazed donut holes into mini hedgehogs, PBJ sandwiches became little fox faces, aqua peanut M&Ms were robbin’s eggs, among some of my favorites! The centerpiece of the table was a large manzanita branch with twinkle lights and a fuzzy owl perched on a branch. Cupcakes had edible butterflies and signs that said “Knox’s Onderland”. His cake looked like a birch tree stump with little woodland fondant friends on top. I know he wont remember all the details I agonized over for weeks to plan the perfect party (except for pictures), but I am a proud mama and just couldn’t help myself!

Enchanted Woodland Birthday and Baptism

Sweet 1 year-old’s Stella and Charles recently celebrated their birthday’s and baptism. I was honored to help pull all the details together for an Enchanted Woodland Forest themed celebration befitting these darling babies.
My favorite part of the event was creating a dessert station loaded with wide variety of treats to tempt the sweet tooth. You’ll notice it’s divided in two for a his and her theme. Buttercream & Sprinkles made the drive from New Jersey to Virginia to craft delicate cake pops, light as a feather Macaroons and the most gorgeous chocolate covered Oreos you have ever seen. She also made the gourmet cake pops given as party favors to each family as they departed. Complete works art. We can’t forget the cakes! Check out the details on each tier created by Tutu Cute Cakes. Those flowers and little woodland creatures are unbelievable! The moss covered backdrop adorned with flowers and delicate creatures was created by Leslie Hartig Floral Design. Working with Leslie makes every project easier because she knows just how to make my vision a reality.
