Pooh Nursery
My client wanted a Winnie the Pooh themed nursery. She had a cute border and crib bedding as inspiration for this room.

Our house is made up of books. Pages and bindings fill as many cracks as we can stuff them into. Stories line our walls, cocooning us in a world of words.
And now they do that for Griffin.
This was a super sweet party for an adorable 2 year old girl. Mom went all out with the crepe paper and hired an amazing face painter as well. The kids had tons of fun singing and dancing the day away.
I was excited to have a vegan cupcake order for this event. I tried out a new vegan buttercream icing which was pretty divine. The non-vegan chocolate chip cupcakes seemed to be a hit as well. Smiles all around!
The nursery is designed with a giraffe theme for our new baby, Madeline Esther.
We wanted a nursery that was fun, bright and happy so we choose blue, yellow and orange.
Our labor of love. Took about 3-4 months to complete. Designed, drawn and painted by my wife and I. And remember, were not a design company or party planner, we also took all the pictures ourselves.
We decided to make the baby’s sex a surprise. So we needed something neutral. Winnie the Pooh came to us and we took it from there! We picked the colors for the background from Disney’s color set. We used Bibiddi Bobbiddi Blue and Tinker Bell Green. After the background was painted we hand sketched the characters and painted them in a few coats. We used an acrylic paint(s) to color the characters. The furniture is made by Simmons and was bought from Clossics in Delaware Our window treatments were custom made by a friend of ours. The fabrics were imported from Hawaii. They are made specifically from room darkening. It took us about 2 weeks. We are so anxious for the little one to get here!!
This nursery is for my Aurora. I wanted a Pooh room but hubby wanted Snow White to be there too. It took me about two months to finish the mural but totally worth it. These pictures were taken before we put all the furnitures in.
This is my son Parker’s 1st Birthday party. I went with a classic Pooh theme with warm browns, muted reds, and golds.
