A fun vintage western nursery for our little buck-a-roo!
When my husband said “western” nursery for our baby girl, he pictured barbed wired and red bandanas….this is what I pictured…
Having a farming and ranching background on both sides of the family, we pulled a collection items from numerous family members to create this western themed room for our little cowboy.
My little boys nursery. Going for a clean and modern interior design.
A perfect little buckaroo’s room! primary colors, shapes, and cowboys!
We bought my in-laws house four months before my first son was born. We had so much fun changing my husband’s brother’s old room into a nursery.
My duahgter, Macy’s cowgirl birhtday party, a pink and brown paisley theme.
5th Birthday Party with a Western Toy Story Theme.
My hope was to not have one particular theme for the room, but to instead pull together various sentimental and eclectic pieces that I found and liked. I also found a lot of the details at thrift shops, flea markets, Etsy, and in my parents/in-laws home. So, this nursery was very cost-efficient!
Jake’s 1st birthday party was so much fun to plan and style. Lil’ Buckaroo jumped out at us as the perfect theme because that was his nickname we gave him in response to the way he “bucks” when he gets frustrated. Once I had the theme, I instantly knew I would be working with the red bandana, denim and cow prints to use as my pattern and color palettes. From there, I created the designs using those colors and a star I designed to resemble an old western sheriff badge. This party started out as just a simple idea and I am so thrilled with how it came out. It was the perfect 1st birthday party for my son!
For my Son’s first birthday I wanted to celebrate it western/ Mexican Style. I tried to find items that both reflected a cowboy and mexican theme.
