Vintage Baby Boy Shower

Wood, galvanized metal, burlap, hand painted alphabet blocks, handcrafted pennant banners, & Teddy bears were some of the amazing details from the Rustic vintage inspired shower for mama to be Ashley.
Mom wanted a beautiful shower to celebrate their last child. So that is exactly what we did.  Went to work and contacted my vendor friends to help me pull this look to together an awesome baby boy vintage shower.
Carmen Navarro Designs: Carmen was the creative mind behind the entire look of the shower. Styling every last detail to make it perfect, carefully pulling all the décor details together.  Handcrafted pennants banners that matched the denim blue color scheme were hung above each guest table. Vintage books, silver chargers, mason jars with a paper straw, hand painted baby blocks & toys, blue washed painted mason jars with babies breath flanked each tablescape.
The dessert table featured an over the top design with so many fun accents. From a diaper cake, wood blocks, suitcases, knitted blankets, textured pillows, books, marquee lights, lanterns, galvanized tubs, crates, and a blue truck. Gorgeous floral flanked each side of the table giving it some much needed balanced. & of course how can we forget those awesome teddy bears throughout the shower.

Rickety Swank: Provided the beautiful Thomasville vintage buffet, which we used as the dessert station. They also provided the rustic ladders with planks for the backdrop of the dessert table.
Irene’s Dessert Table: Created such an amazing cake with details that were too cute to eat. An intricate handmade fondant teddy bear flanked on the top of the cake along with some handcrafted edible baby blocks. Now I have seen many cake pops in my line of work, these pops have to be some of the cutest one I have in encountered. The little brown and blue teddys were such an amazing detail.
Cookies by Kerri: These royal icing cookies were insanely intricate. Teddy bears, rattles, onesies, & baby carriages matched perfectly to all the details of the shower. That washed denim look was amazing.
Tre Fiori Studio: Mason jars filled with babies breath brought life to each guest tablescape. Along with the 2 gorgeous floral pieces that flanked the dessert table, these were definitely showstoppers within themselves.
Leah Rae Photography: Captured the essence of this shower perfectly!

Alessandra’s Pink Vintage Baby Shower

My sister’s baby shower was just the last sunday. We did a lot a arrangements only for a few hours party. But it worth it. I loved every single detail.
I was designing her invitation cards and I though she wanted the same of my other sister, Princess theme with crowns but she said “I want flowers everywhere, baby pink, and a vintage baby shower theme”, that’s how we started.

Baby F’s Vintage Baby Shower

My sister in law is having a baby and I threw her shower. She wanted an understated vintage baby book shower. We didn’t want it to scream baby  but wanted it to be boyish, soft, and have a very vintage feel. Using lots of burlap, lace, baby blue, and a lot of vintage Golden Books, we pulled it off. Details of book pages were throughout the decor on homemade pinwheels and heart garlands. Vintage baby blocks, baby toys, suitcases, and vases added to the charm.

It’s Time Baby Celebration

When we found out we were expecting, I knew that I wanted to design a gender baby celebration that was not only an original and modern design, but one that our other three children could participate in. As I researched ideas, I began to envision a modern clock theme and thought it would be amazing for a cuckoo clock to chime and our kids to rush to see the cuckoo bird deliver them a slip of paper that would tell them if it was a boy or a girl :) That was a little farfetched, however, and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on a cuckoo clock. So, I was beyond thrilled when I discovered a DIY tutorial on a website for a mock cuckoo clock. We had a close friend that was the only one to know the surprise clip the paper to the clock. A very loud cuckoo clock recording did indeed interrupt our soiree, and our oldest son rushed to pull the slip of paper off the clock and scream the results to our guests :):)All in all, it was a blissful evening full of family, fun, and amazing memories.

Vintage girl baby shower in pink and yellow

Girl Baby shower in yellow and pink colors. The mom loved vintage pieces, so we decorated little antique white urns, rustic birdcages and lanterns with garden inspired flowers. For the cake we wanted to go more elegant and modern than you typical baby shower cake so we modified a bridal cake and topped it with cute Chanel baby shoes with a bit of sparkle.  We also added little details like mini cupcakes, a wishing tree, mini lemonades, candy jars……all in the color scheme pink and yellow.  For the background we created a painting using stencils with birdcages, trees and bird patterns.
