A shabby-chic 1st Birthday!
This was the first birthday party for my daughter, Ryman. She is our first child, so I had never planned a child’s birthday party before but was determined to make our favorite person’s first birthday perfect.

Just enough girly. Aqua walls with white furniture and touches of pink, green, and brown.
Leaves fluttering, books growing on trees and playful owls fill this outdoor themed nursery.
We were so excited when we found out we were having a boy! I’m really not into the traditional baby blue thing and I wanted to stray from the traditional color palette, so I chose orange, grey, and brown. It was also important that the nursery was one of a kind and super unique so we did a lot of refinishing and creative thinking.
a colorful budget friendly mix of previously loved furniture to make a sweet nursery in a rental home.
A peaceful vintage nursery for our daughter Rose with hand-me-downs, Craigslist finds, and thrift store treasures.
Budget – friendly nursery for my little girl. All furniture is second-hand. I painted/distressed the chest and changing table and added new knobs. The crib was purchased on craigslist! and looked brand new! The glider was purchased from a friend who selling it (included slipcover!). The rug was purchased new and so was the chandelier. I changed out the crystals and added the gold touch to the chandelier (got it on a clearance rack!). I made the bunny prints to go around the mirror and now sell them through my business – Libbie & Winston designs.
