Owen’s Nautical Nursery
Owen’s nursery is a sophisticated, gender neutral Nautical Nursery inspired by my father’s love of all things lake related! Growing up around water is such a fond memory of mine that I wanted to pass it on to Owen.

A classic nursery that combines both nautical & travel inspired elements. Not wanting anything too theme specific, we incorporated coastal & travel components into one cohesive nursery using muted shades of blue and gray, natural wood tones, & mixed metals.
I wanted a sophisticated nursery for my son that still had a theme and something he could grow with.
This is our nursery for our baby girl Quincy who is due on November 30th.
After having three boys I was BEYOND excited to design a nursery for my little girl, but I still didn’t want to go over the top frou frou. The rest of our house is a nice mix of modern and classic so I wanted to make sure the room would flow while at the same time providing Annabel (and me!) with one place that was undeniably feminine. What started out as a purely modern project morphed slightly into a mix between mid-century modern and 60’s Boudoir style, and I absolutely love the way it turned out.
The nursery is themeless. I just wanted a sweet, peaceful space for imagination and dreams. (Professional photos by Del Benson)
My husband and I decided that we hated the way her room looked before (wish i had pictures) so we decided to do a complete remodel. Our two year old got a new bedroom set, paint job, a few DIY and a tv. What more can a two year old ask for.
I wanted to create a nursery that was relaxing, feminine, unique and incorporated my DIY handy-work and hand made pieces from friends and family.
A traditional, peaceful nursery for our first baby boy.
Clean and soft with pops of color with new and old pieces.
A soothing and timeless nursery that will grow with Sophie Grace using soft petal pink, light gray and robin’s egg blue. The room is not completely finished at this point…still am finishing wall decor and have not completed the crib bedding.
****I will post more pictures with a close up of the bumper as well as the changing table-the crib bumper is a light gray with damask pattern with light pink bows. The crib skirt is on order.
A modern girl’s nursery transitioned from her brother’s room with a few easy changes.
A sweet, simple & sophisticated nursery for our baby girl.
