Hartley’s Light and Airy Shiplap Nursery

I’ve wanted a shiplap wall (or walls!!) in my house since I saw the first episode of Fixer Upper a couple of years ago…and a sweet little nursery seemed like the perfect excuse to make that happen! My other two kids’ nurseries had themes and were very well thought-out, but this one…not so much. All I knew was that I wanted it to be light, bright and airy…and when I started incorporating things that fit that description, it all just kind of fell into place!
Everything about Hartley’s nursery makes me happy and I hope she feels the same way when she gets bigger!

Hadley’s Serene Shiplap Nursery

When we finally heard the words “It’s A Girl” the only thing I knew was her name and NO PINK! Starting her room I knew I wanted everything light, airy, and minimalistic; I started collecting all white and grey for my inspiration, but knew I wanted to use the pale blue bottles from my wedding. I came across the Little Unicorn bedding and knew it was the perfect touch of color without being pink! I have wanted a shiplap wall since we moved in, so I’m glad I waited to to use it in here! It’s a great way to add style without adding clutter. My favorite  part of her room is The Trendy Timber name sign! Her room is now my favorite in the house!
