Sesame street birthday party

When Lis was turning one and I had to pick a theme for her birthday party, there was nothing else that came to mind besides Elmo! That was her favorite character up to that point. She loved his monster friends, the songs and everything sesame!
Because there were other small children attending, we created a baby corner with rubber flooring and baby toys for their entertainment.
Besides the party favor bags for the children, we gave an Elmo photo holder for everyone to take. The relatives seem to love that. Especially aunts and grandmas!

At 4 months old, Aryana would giggle loudly as we said on our cutest voice “Cookie Monster”.  She also has a cookie monster puppet that she loves!
I decided with this connection to do a Cookie Monster Theme.

My son, Miles, LOVES Sesame Street right now, so I decided to use the classic children’s tv show as the inspiration for the theme of his party.  We also decided to do a breakfast party and start it at 10 AM (just like Sesame Street starts on our TV at home!)  The unique time of the birthday seemed to be a hit!  From the cupcake toppers to the napkin holders…there are ALOT of details in this party!  With my mom’s help, we created a party that we were proud of and, most importantly, Miles and his family and friends had such a fun time at!
