Serene nursery

A SERENE & CALMING NURSERY FOR SELAH GRACE
Kelsey & Matt Breneman and their new baby girl, Selah Grace are enjoying  the design of their first baby’s nursery.  Their main goal in the design of their nursery was to have a room that felt comfortable, serene and calming.  The color palette of soft metallics, gray, white and blush pink seemed to be the perfect combination to accomplish this nursery design goal.  Soft touches like a sheepskin rug, white seersucker curtains, and a few vintage pieces were added to the mix to finish the look.  Advice from Selah Grace’s parents concerning room design?  Shop stores like Target, TJ Maxx and Home Goods for beautiful accessories that will give you the designer look you want at reasonable prices.  The room design was by Kelsey and her mom, Shelley Krupa of The Cozy Perch, a small design company in Longview, Texas. The mobile wreath was also created by Shelley Krupa. It is available for custom order in her Etsy shop, SelahGraceDesigns.   The nursery is ready.  So glad to have you in the family, sweet Selah Grace!

Putting together my sweet baby girl’s ocean inspired nursery was hands down the most fun home decorating project I’ve ever tackled. I wanted to create a space that was simple, airy, feminine, and modern. It’s easily my favorite room in the house.

Leo’s nursery was designed to be a serene and sophisticated space that used texture rather than colour.  Lots of white with timber and touches of copper and dusty blue.

My thought of a nursery was always a place that was calm and serene for our little boy.  We went with light, airy colors and stayed away from a “theme.”

I wanted to create a calming environment for a serene nursery using light neutral colors.

Here is our soft and serene sanctuary for our little princessa!

At Little Crown Interiors, we’re currently jumping up and down, alternating with pinching ourselves.  We just completed a design for celebrity Mommy Laila Ali, and we finally get to share it with Project Nursery readers.
