We wanted to share our love of travel with our new baby girl. Since we will be moving soon, we kept the walls neutral but made the room fun and girly with pinks and turquoise. I used trains, planes, boats and pictures of places around the world to highlight the travel theme. We hope our little girl embarks on great adventures and experiences what the world can offer!
Liv’s Lounge is a whimsy mix of modern and shabby chic. I am all about color, different textures & patterns and unique design. I really wanted her room to be something that will grow with her. I don’t care for baby-ish themes so I just started buying pieces that struck my fancy. Luckily, by accident, everything came together perfectly! I couldn’t be more pleased with the final product!
I wanted to create a bright, happy space for my baby girl. A place conducive to creativity and inspiration. A place she would feel happy to come in, curl up, and read a story with mommy.
Bright and cheery nursery for our first child, a sweet baby girl!
This is Charlee’s Birds and Bloom nursery. Our inspiration started with the picture above her crib from PoshTots. Many of the items were hand made or ordered from Etsy.
As we moved house recently I had to re-create the nursery BUT she is not a baby anymore so using her existing furniture and some of my favorite nursery items(in turquoise) I made her a whole new room, in her favoirte colour PINK. I bought her new pictures appropriate for her age and displayed them in this modern sort of way above her now converted toddler bed. She has quite a few hand made items like her quilt and dolls. She also has a play room so this space is reserved for sleeping and her very favorite toys, books and keepsakes.

I am having a little girl and couldn’t wait to start on her nursery as soon as I found out the sex! I love girly stuff, but didn’t want to do the traditional pinks and purples, so I went with Tiffany Blue with white and pink accents.
