When I first met with celebrity clients Sean Combs and Kim Porter he insisted on an all white nursery :) As the selection and design process began we came up with the perfect solution! An all white playrooms with pink glazed crown and floor molding, a beautiful nursery with soft pinks, a romantic sky and an amazing garden fairy mural.
I looked at a lot of pictures on Pinterest before coming up with this concept. I knew I wanted very simple bedding. My husband wouldn’t allow me to paint the nursery because our house is new construction and we plan to use the room as an office in two years. That forced me to bring color in with fabrics. I knew what I wanted for bedding, but the pink bedding is so pale it made it difficult to find fabric to match. I finally found the fabric that brought in the gray from the furniture pieces I had from Nadeau.
I wanted something bright, retro, comfortable and unique… not something that looked straight out of Babies ‘R’ Us. And I wanted it to be a room that the girls could grow into. Aside from the cribs, I can see everything else staying in the room for while… it’s not “babyish”.
I have more details about there things were purchased on my blog:
