Baby L’s Pink and Gray Nursery
We wanted a calm, soft space with some old and new elements mixed in. The room features some vintage blankets, hints of metallics, retro starburst mirrors, and lots of fluffy white and sheepskin!

This Nursery Room was designed for Backstreet Boy AJ & his wife Rochelle McLean. We started off with a pink and leopard color palette, lending itself to a feminine glam concept with a bit of sass!
We wanted this room to be transitional for Ava as she grows, so instead of choosing pieces with a Juvenile look, we selected furnishings with a more classic style and convertible functions that she can use and will love for years to come. AJ & Rochelle were so wonderful to work with and they are incredibly happy with the finished product!
After having three boys I was BEYOND excited to design a nursery for my little girl, but I still didn’t want to go over the top frou frou. The rest of our house is a nice mix of modern and classic so I wanted to make sure the room would flow while at the same time providing Annabel (and me!) with one place that was undeniably feminine. What started out as a purely modern project morphed slightly into a mix between mid-century modern and 60’s Boudoir style, and I absolutely love the way it turned out.
We were recently inspired to do a New Years eve party editorial and wanted to make a fun and easy DIY project to go with it so we made a clock pinata! Perfect for ringing in 2012 (or bring in 2012 with a “bang” ha!)
