Kendal’s Ethereal Nursery

This project had a strict budget so most of the items were DIY. I did not want her nursery to have a theme, because I am always changing things! The room was small so I tried not to go overboard with a lot of different colors and focused on small details for character. I hope it is a room she grows up to love! :)
I wanted a nice, light and peaceful room for our little girl who was due to be born in Summer. I started early as we were fairly budget-conscious and wanted a beautiful room, for a fraction of the price!
We wanted our baby’s nursery to be bright, modern, and comfortable. Nothing too girly, but definitely a modern, feminine vibe.
A soft, feminine and romantic nursery done is shades of petal pink, ivory and gray.
We tried to create a nursery that was a little modern, a little vintage, light & airy, with a dash of fun and color. We combined new, modern items with my family pieces. We still want to add a bookcase and a few more art pieces.
We just moved into our new apartment when we found out I was pregnant with our first. Loving design, I searched for inspiration on the Internet weeks before we knew if it was a boy or girl! As soon as we knew we we’re expecting a little guy, we started putting our ideas together and came up with a space that will grow with him and create great memories for years to come…
paper lanterns and a white orb light arranged as a mobile above the crib
A sweet, simple & sophisticated nursery for our baby girl.
Party for any age based on an Indian style Bollywood theme. Very colourful, full of fun and eye candy!
