Unicorn Magic
We had a mini magical celebration for our 6 year old.
We had a mini magical celebration for our 6 year old.
After surviving the addition of twin sisters to the family, our sweet girl deserved a magical day to celebrate her and turning three! We needed magic, balanced with quick and easy! Like most little girls she adores unicorns and the wonder they bring! Amazon finds and naptime crafting were essential for this busy momma to create the magic! We incorporated magical fun with classic and traditional touches!
Naptime DIYs included the tissue paper rainbow tassel banner, the rainbow cake and chalkboard art! Easy decorations included framing a free unicorn print out and “unicorn name” chart, backyard hydrangeas, old chalkboards and a unicorn figurine cake topper! Rainbow fruit kabobs and a rainbow vegetable platter added to the fun!
I let miss Ava pick what kind of party she wanted to have this year. It wasn’t hard to guess she would pick “Cinderella-y”. Perfect choice! Such a classic princess. I first found the little stuffed mice on eBay which inspired me to work in the pink dress making scene from the movie. I was thrilled to find the pink dress from an online children’s boutique (unfortunately now closed but can find similar on Etsy). After that it was just crafting and setting up for the event. She loved her dress and glass slippers along with spending the day with her family and friends. It was truly magical.
Sloane’s 2nd birthday party held at home with the theme tutus and tennis shoes.
I cannot believe now I share the project of Quorra’s 3 rd birthday.. its seems only yesterday that I shared her 1st party… :)
As she grew, she now can choose her own theme for birthday, and she still lovesss water and anything associated with sealife.. so she decided to be a mermaid this time and requested to have a bubble party!
Happy 3rd birthday dear Quorra
I designed this softball birthday party for my 10yr old. She’s been playing for 2 yrs and loves the sport. She is not fan of pink, so I had to keep that out and go with her fave colors, red, black and blue.
A glam birthday party featuring pink ombre and gold accents.
My daughter Gigi loves a great party! This year for her birthday she wanted to combine two of her favorite things – yummy treats and her American Girl Doll. Thus, the idea to host a classic tea party for the girl’s and their dolls in honor of Gigi’s 7th birthday was born.
A bright bold and modern take on a traditional butterfly/garden party. Hot pinks and yellows were our color scheme with a sweet butterfly motif.
Tons of fun and lots of work planning this Rainbow party! It all paid off as my daughter Emmy smiled and giggled all day long!
Everly’s Small 2nd Birthday Party was held at home
I had almost no time to prepare for my daughter’s first birthday and I did not want to spend a lot of money. I organized a cake and sweets party and invited a few friends and neighbors. I took a couple of super easy DIY projects and I did almost everything with a pack of colored paper and tissue paper.
My little Princess Olivia turned 1 on February 27, 2011 and we wanted to throw a party as spectacular as she has been this entire 1st year!
This whimsical Sweet Station was designed for a little girls birthday party. The guests filled their custom favor boxes with international sweets, butterfly topped Sweet Skewers and mini desserts. They enjoyed face painting and getting their fortune told by the great Fairy Goblinfly.
This was a combined birthday party for my three daughters (4,4,2). They have always loved anything and everything circus so when we were deciding on a theme, I knew this was perfect! It’s a circus extravaganza with lots of girly twists, pink, ruffles and boas!
Gracie is finally turning 1! For her first birthday I wanted to steer away from the usually cartoon inspried birthdays and instead do something a little more unexpected. Thats why on Jan.29 everyone will be joining us to celebrate her birthday at her Enchanted Garden.
This party was for my daughter for her third birthday. I am trying to keep birthday parties to just our family and close friends for as long as I possibly can before having to make the jump to her preschool friends and ultimately school friends once she hits elementary school, however, I want them to still be fun with lots of details and decorations for her to remember. I loved that she wanted to do a cowgirl party, as I love horses and of course she needed it to be pink – her favorite color.
A warm Summer’s Day was the initial theme behind this second birthday party. Patterns: polka dots and damask Colors: shades of pink and yellow
