We live in a large formal Victorian in New England. The room was previously the guest room, and had just been re-decorated 2 years before Oliver’s arrival. While lovely, the drab green walls weren’t very fun so we painted the thick aqua stripes on one wall to cheery it up. We wanted the room to be fun and whimsical, but also work with the character of the house.
A bright and fun nursery for our boy/girl twins. :)
I wanted something bright, retro, comfortable and unique… not something that looked straight out of Babies ‘R’ Us. And I wanted it to be a room that the girls could grow into. Aside from the cribs, I can see everything else staying in the room for while… it’s not “babyish”.
