Baby Girl Nursery
A classic styled nursery that is comfortable and simple.
We wanted to create a fun nursery for our son. I wanted it to be bright and cheery. I did not want to follow a theme, but more colors. I wanted the colors to be something he could keep for a long time. I thought the stripes on one wall would help the room not look so much like a box and they are stimulating for a baby. He lays on his changing pad and coos at them everyday!!
Small in size. Big on elephants. Bennett’s room is only 10 feet by 9 feet. We struggled to find furniture that would fit without sacrificing comfort. The walls are painted a soft robin’s egg blue. Accent colours are grey, slate, and white. The room features several different sizes, styles, and textures of elephants.
A feminine and serene room for my baby girl.
Designed a nursery for my new baby girl arrival. Elephant themed gray and hot pink with green accessories. Made cushions for glider to match theme. Painted dresser two different shades of gray from original wood color. Added vine for wall decor.
This is my daughter’s pink and gray elephant nursery in our downtown Chicago condo.
I wanted the nursery to be bright and cheery without going so cliche baby. It’s a mix of reworked pieces we already had (it’s amazing what a coat of paint and a new fabric can do) and 9 months to let my ideas come together and finding the perfect additions!
Turquoise and gray elephant nursery. Not too baby-ish but just the right amount!
We wanted to create a simple nursery that was a mix of modern and traditional elements. We used some flea market finds, a few DIY elements and some elbow grease !
This nursery was designed for our son Owen. I am very opposed to spending a ton of money on a baby’s room, however, I’m also very opposed to boring nurseries as well. I call it “nursery in a bag” look. I hate the matchy matchy themed rooms you can get at any baby store. Therefore, we met in the middle and were able to come up with a very fun, bright, and budget friendly nursery.
Baby boy nursery with an elephant theme
This nursery was designed for my clients as a gender neutral nursery. After bub arrived, we added in pops of pink and red. For details please see my blog at www.nestdesignstudioblog.blogspot.com
