Dino-mite Dinosaur 3rd Birthday Party
WE had a ROAR-ingly good time at my son’s Dinosaur 3rd Birthday Party. The kids had such a great time and the dino theme was easy to put together. It was DINO-mite!

My husband and I had a great time designing this nerdy nursery for our soon-to-arrive little girl. With Star Wars, Doctor Who, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek, Ghostbusters, Firefly, Harry Potter, Wonder Woman, Robot, Dragon, Marvel, Monster, Dog, Lego, and Dinosaur details, we infused this room with as much of ourselves as we possibly could, while keeping it modern and classic.
We are so in love with this space and hopefully it will be a room that can grow with our little girl.
A DIY girly and glittery pink and gold dinosaur birthday party for my 3 year old daughter.
Using a mix of things we already had and some new purchases we created a mint and orange nursery. We can’t wait to bring our new baby boy home to!
We created a geeky nursery inspired by our favorite things for our baby boy. A gray, blue and white cozy space that fits our home and personal style perfectly with minimal decor with a touch of geek love.
A dinosaur nursery that I put together for my son. We didn’t get it finished until he was almost three months which was perfect because he was able to help (watch) us bring the room to life.
Welcome to the jungle where dinosaurs and toddlers rules the land… Though a week before the party, the birthday boy decided that “dinosaurs are kind of scary.”
A pink and silver dinosaur themed party!
Transitional nursery that will grow as our baby boy does. Navy, gray, white, and green with some dinosaurs mixed in.
We decided to throw a dinosaur themed party for my youngest son and have it at our favorite park. Artchie has a special dinosaur stuffed animal he loves to snuggle with and learned to make “ROAR” sounds like his big brother when playing with their dinosaur toys. It was an easy choice to make dinosaurs the running theme for his special first birthday.
I created this party for my son, Max. I used my DinoMite Dinosaur Party Printables to set the theme for the party
We threw a birthday party for our three-year-old boy/girl twins at our home in June. We had food and drinks inside and a huge “castle” made out of cardboard boxes outside for the kids. The party was very casual and unstructured; people went in and out as they pleased, we opened presents at one point and then let all of the kids play with all of the toys, and we had a bunch of cupcakes (that people ate whenever they wanted) instead of a formal cake.
Like most boys his age, JD loves dinosaurs but we can honestly only credit this love for dinosaurs to the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles! We began visiting the museum with him in 2010 and became members soon after; we haven’t stopped visiting it since. When the Dinosaur Hall opened last year JD became completely fascinated with dinosaurs and fossils. There isn’t a week that goes by that he doesn’t ask to go to the “Dino Museum.” So, when the time came to plan his 3rd birthday party we knew dinosaurs would be the theme. When we found out the NHM of Los Angeles had a birthday party program, we didn’t have to think twice about the location. The Natural History Museum’s birthday party program is really great! They provide everything you need to throw an amazing dinosaur party, everything but the food and cake! The program even provides event assistants (really awesome assistants) to help you run your party and direct all the activities and games. All your party guests also get admission to the museum for the day!
Dino themed nursery, avoiding “too much” of the theme. Neutral walls w/ pops of color using the curtains, rug, and books.
Instead of choosing one theme, we decided to fill Jonah’s room with a mix of our favorite things. We wanted a warm and cozy environment for our new little one, but also a room he could grow into.
I created this nursery for our son, Ehren, who is due tomorrow! When I found out we were expecting I began searching for bedding for both a boy and a girl- this print was my favorite and I was ecstatic to be able to purchase when we learned we were having a boy!!
A full room mural for a budget-minded client can still offer great detail.
For my son’s third birthday I decked the house with dinos. The kids and grown up loved the theme.
