Ikat Zig Zag Gender Neutral Nursery

Meet Audra, the DIY enthusiast behind the blog The Kurtz Corner.  Audra chose to create a gender neutral nursery.  She found that choosing colors that don’t exclusively identify with either gender like yellows, whites, oranges, greens, browns, grays, etc. is the best way to go.  After painting the wall several colors, she painted the Ikat Zig Zag Stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils.

A Woodsy Stenciled Nursery

Meet Rebecca, the proud Aunt-to-be and DIY enthusiast behind the blog The Sourdough Cottage. Rebecca wanted to do something super sweet for her pregnant sister-in-law, Monika, so she decided to design a woodsy nursery.
The walls were already painted white so she stenciled our Birch Forest Allover pattern in Behr’s granite to create a woodsy accent wall.  Once they put the finishing touches on the space, Rebecca revealed the room.  She said, “Monika let out the biggest gasp and proceeded to tear up” after seeing the room.  We just love the look of this room!  Oh and did you notice the two large birch trees on the sides of the stencil?  SO clever!

Blush, Gold, & Stenciled Little Diamonds

Tricia is a creative mama and the fabulous DIYer behind the blog Suburban Bitches.  Tricia’s little girl, Alice, was ready for a room makeover so she scoured the web for inspiration before landing on her blush and gold vision.  First she painted the walls a pretty shade of blush pink using Sherwin Williams’s White Dogwood.  Then she painted the bed frame, purchased new bedding, and added some sophisticated accessories like the lamp.  Tricia felt the room needed pattern to bring it to life so she decided to stencil an accent wall.  Tricia and her daughter fell in love with our Little Diamonds Allover Stencil, a whimsical diamond shaped pattern.  She used painter’s tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern in a sparkly gold hue.  Here is her newly stenciled tween girl bedroom.

Nagoya Stenciled Yellow Nursery

Meet Nicole, the proud mama to Paloma, a beautiful baby girl. She searched for nursery inspiration on Pinterest and stumbled across stenciled accent wall ideas and fell in love with the DIY project.  She painted three of the walls a soothing gray hue.  For her accent wall she left it white and chose to stencil a fun geometric pattern in a bright yellow.  Nicole used our Nagoya Allover pattern in a sunny yellow hue, similar to Benjamin Moore’s yellow rain coat 2020-40.  Once she completed the stenciled wall, she wrote “#diy SUCCESS!!! I did it and in way less time than I expected! I highly recommend Cutting Edge Stencils. This project was wayyyyyy easier than I anticipated and I think it’s because I had a good stencil. Hope Paloma likes it!” To complete the look of the nursery, she added in some gray decor elements like the wall art over the crib by Page Launcher.
