We wanted a modern baby. Not to babyish not too modern. Just enough that he can grow with it for years to come.
This preppy girl’s room was inspired by the hot pink cubes. When I saw them on ebay, I had to have them and design a room around them! We used Annie Selk fabric with graphic and geometric prints in hot pink and green with hints of blue and red. The drapes and pillows were custom with the fabric. The chair is re-upholstered also in Annie Selk fabric and painted white (ebay find). The dresser and side table are also vintage and have been re-painted. The lamp is from TJ Maxx and the owl lamp from Target. Frames from Ikea and canvas storage bins from Pottery Barn Kids. Duvet cover and euro sham from PB Teen. Prints from Etsy & deco pillow from etsy. Please contact me for any other details on sources used for this room.
Abe is our fourth baby, so we were out of extra bedrooms. The nursery is actually one end of our oversized master bedroom, separated with curtains hung from the ceiling. I wanted the nursery to coordinate well with the other half of the room but still be fun and colorful for a baby.
A twin nursery that is soothing for both babies and mom!
I wanted a girly yet peaceful nursery. My focus was the cherry blossom tree and birds using shades of pinks, greens, yellows and white.
We tried our best to turn a plain white box of a bedroom into a cute, welcoming space for our son.
Mark’s playful nursery
Have you ever used the excuse “Oh, it’s just a rental” as an excuse not to decorate? Well, little Bronson’s cool baby boys room needs no excuse. Mom Kimberly did a terrific job decorating her son’s room with contemporary pieces and a few trendy zebra touches – which look super in a little boys rooms I must add!
