It was so fun putting together this nursery for our first born. We wanted a feminine nursery with woodland accents. All items were hand selected from a variety of stores to keep the room unique and personal. Our idea was for the nursery to be transitional for Emerson as she grows. Furnishings and accents were chosen with a less juvenile feel with the hope that she will enjoy them for years to come.
I helped a good friend of mine plan her daughter’s 5th birthday party and since her daughter wanted a farm animal petting zoo and pony rides, this cottage theme would work perfectly! I just love the mix of shabby gingham with the roses and the western mix of fonts! I didn’t want to do a pony party, barnyard party or a cowgirl party because I’ve seen it done so many times. This theme would also be great for a bridal shower, baby shower, tea party, etc. I can customize the candy labels to your specific needs and the birthday banner can be downloaded for free in my shop!

Crafty bedroom with gray and pink and a dash of green.Putting together Penelope’s nursery was one of the most fun things I’ve done. I can’t say that my husband would agree as he had tons of IKEA furniture to put together. I have to say that her room is my favorite in the house. It’s the nicest and the one that’s most well put together.
The project was to turn the second bedroom which started with four coffee colored walls into my dream nursery for my twin girl miracles! This most likely will be the only nursery I design since it was so hard to have our babies that I really wanted to make sure I did it right and to my heart’s content… my husband was great and let me just go and dream.
Our nursery definitely reflects our love for the beach. It works for babies, but it doesn’t feel overwhelmingly like a baby’s room. The colors and the fabrics make it super cozy. It’s one of the most soothing rooms in our home.
We wanted our little girl to have a room she would feel happy in. I fell in love with her crib because of the floral scrolling.. we found the most beautiful antique dresser at an estate and my husband lovingly restored it. After Lily was born, her wonderful aunt painted a self portrait of her and gave it to her as a gift.
