For our second child (a girl!), we wanted to update the nursery but needed to do something quick and simple–our time was limited because we were chasing around our toddler boy. We chose a white, coral, and gold palette for a girly feel without going “too pink.” The gold star wall stickers were easy to apply and the rest of the room came together easily, thanks to a couple of cans of gold and coral spray paint!
For the last few years I’ve been scouring Project Nursery & Pinterest for nursery ideas, dreaming about the day I’d get to set up our own! When we found out we were having a girl, I couldn’t wait to start putting it together! I knew I wanted to use primarily Coral, Gold, & White for the color scheme and was inspired by the crib quilt I found from Little Unicorn. We live in military housing so there’s a limit as to what we can change to the room, but overall our daughter’s nursery turned out to be the bright, girly, colorful space I was hoping for!
I loved finding little ways to personalize Everlee’s nursery! Here are some ways I did that:
DIY Floral Crib Mobile- Pinterest project! Super fun & easy and I was able to purchase all the supplies while Hobby Lobby had all their floral supplies priced at 50% off. Here’s the link.
Framed “E”- The white frame is a vintage picture frame that belonged to my Granny. I removed the glass and hot glued faux spray roses onto paper to create the “E”
Prints- For the collage wall 3 of the “prints” are actually greeting cards that I received from friends at our baby shower! They were so cute & just happened to match her nursery colors perfectly! I framed them & voila! Adorable, cheap, personalized wall decor!
Knit Coral Blanket- my talented sister in law knit this beautiful blanket that I have draped over the rocking chair. I love that it matches her room & was specially made with love! Can’t wait to cuddle baby girl up in this!
Books- we bought used at Hastings & from Amazon while trying to conceive. Now our baby girl has a ready made library!
Nightstand- I wanted a functional, comfortable nursing space in the nursery knowing endless hours would be spent there! I have the nightstand drawers stocked with burp cloths, nursing pads, snacks & my tablet with a stand and charger. Something tells me Netflix is going to be a lifesaver during those middle of the night feeding sessions!
I started the project knowing I wanted to use the black and cream Dalmatian print wallpaper as a backdrop; from there I added coral and gold with green palm accents. Nurseries are so fun because you can use themes and colors that are completely separate from the rest of your house!
Heirloom oak furniture and a tight $500 budget was enough to transform a plain neutral space into a cozy feminine retreat.
I’m an interior designer and looked forward to the day I could decorate a nursery for my own baby.

Many do-it-yourself touches in this chic nursery. From the stenciled wall, heart wall piece, tassel garlands, ornament mobile, and wall collage, I may have spent extra time doing everything myself but saved lots of money!
A sweet coral and gold nursery for my sweet baby girl.
This gold and floral nursery is for our soon-to-be-expected baby girl, Lyla Grace. A sweet and innocent room balanced by lavish golds and soft florals.
We wanted to create a glamorous nursery that our little girl could grow into! With the main color in the room being gold, we incorporated shades of coral and aqua.
The focal point of the room is the gold glitter wall…and pictures don’t do it justice! The other three walls have metallic gold polka dot decals. There are many DIY touches throughout the room – starting with the decals that I cut out myself, to the gold gumball machine and coral owl lamp. Spray paint can take ordinary pieces and make them pretty amazing!
I designed this coral and gold nursery for our second daughter, Lucy. I knew I wanted to keep it simple and affordable, but also wanted to make a space that was warm and invited Lucy to be herself.
Brynlee’s navy, coral and gold bedroom truly was a labor of love (combined with some serious nesting from baby #2). I combined modern patterns with contrasting colors to create an eye popping yet function room.
Our baby’s room is a result of her mother’s shabby chic style and my eclectic style. We wanted a soft and inviting atmosphere. It is a mix of cream, white, coral, gold and floral.
