A Well-Dressed Nursery

The other morning I stumbled upon an article about the talent behind House on Simply Stated. In the afternoon I browsed through a gorgeous new design book at Borders called the The Well-Dressed Home. By evening, I found myself drooling over an amazing crib bedding collection carried by Layla Grayce. If that’s not a sign to blog about Annette Tatum, the textile designer behind all of the above, then I don’t know what is!
With so many beautiful patterns to choose from such as retro bamboo, elegant brocade and bright bingo-like dots, a touch of your personality is guaranteed to come through in the design of your baby’s nursery. And with respectable celebrity endorsements from Hollywood Moms such a Minnie Driver and Marcia Cross, surely one can expect great things from Annette Tatum! Keep tabs on Annette by visiting her charming blog and for a peek into those A-list real rooms.

A 90210 Nursery

I’ve just returned from vacation and I’m catching up on missed episodes of HGTV’s Design Star in time for tonight’s season finale. Last week was definitely controversial and I like to join to masses in saying that Lonni’s room was indeed awesome. She so didn’t deserve to have her show “canceled”. This season however, Design Star did a nice job giving desginers the opportunity to create rooms for little people. While some were hits and others misses, here’s a recap of Dan’s recent nursery makeover for celebrity Jason Priestly. You be the judge.
