This is my soon to be born, grandson’s rustic deer nursery. My daughter in law wanted a deer theme and choose exactly where she wanted every item to go. It was her vision. I made the rag quilt, banner and mobile. The deer sheet, diaper changing pad cover, burlap blind, burlap bed skirt and monogram antlers came off Etsy. My son and I did the pallet wall.
I’m so excited to share this sweet aqua and lavender baby shower I recently coordinated. My girlfriend who hosted the shower came up with the sweetest vision and it was so much fun bringing it all to life! Her house is absolutely gorgeous and complimented the theme perfectly. Im still swooning over all of the touches of burlap, lace and pearls.
For Charlotte’s first birthday, I created a butterfly garden party in pinks, white and ivory with butterflies, burlap, mason jars, tissue pom poms, and other vintage touches.
So happy to share with you this fantastic and beautiful baby shower we styled for my friend Ilianetsie’s Baby Shower! Turns out this will be her third little boy, so we wanted to make something simple but fabulous. A ladies only brunch with 50 of her closest friends and family. We went with the hot air balloon theme simply because we’ve never done it before and she seemed like she was on cloud nine with this baby.
We went with a country rustic theme, yet with some playful charm. (Owls, burlap, natural wood, and soft boy colors; light blue, white, gray, and a touch of red)
As a baby planner one of my favorite things to do is plan a baby shower. I get to bring romantic visions to life. I don’t often get carte blanche to just do what I like, but this time was special. Armed only with the colors of the nursey and the knowledge that the new arrival would be a bouncing baby boy. I went to work, and what evolved was a fun french inspired fete’ befitting a petit garcon…..
I co-hosted a baby shower for one of my childhood friends, Cortney. Her cousin, Britny, best friend, Chrystale, and myself had so much fun collaborating for this very special occasion! It turned out beautiful! It had a masculine feel with the twine and burlap mixed with the hydrangea blue but still had a touch of feminine for the mommy!
My dear friends, who have struggled with infertility, are expecting their 1st child in October (a boy named Keller), and are moving out of town before the baby is due. Since I couldn’t throw them a shower I wanted to help celebrate this baby by throwing them a gender reveal party. After a yummy dinner the gender of the baby was revealed to the parents and guests by everyone biting into a cupcake that had either blue (boy) or yellow (girl) in the center.By the way….they are having a BOY!
