Raspberry girl room
This room I designed for a 6 year old who was getting a room of her own. We wanted a cheerful and bright space that could grow with her.

I am not a fan of animals or any of the prints, so I pulled some ideas from different places, and this is what we came up with!
After designing my daughter’s nursery, I knew I wanted to create an equally fun and eclectic space for our son. Like before, this was a labor of love…From picking out the design elements to installing a stone wall! It’s a mix of DIY and store bought. A little kingdom for our little prince :)
A mix of nautical and beach decor…not all sailboats and not too much blue!
I enjoyed decorating my son’s nursery… besides all the kicking, this project was a very fun experience through out my entire pregnancy! When I found out I was having a boy, I decided to stick to traditional colors. I simply love blue; it is a calming color for a nursery… and I have no regrets, it came out super cute!!!
This is a colorful nursery for our little man. We had some challenges with a tiny room and an angled ceiling, so we had to make good use of heights and storage space.
A room our little man can grow into with an eclectic mix of modern and industrial elements.
Modern nursery for a little boy with mural.
We wanted to create a room that Reed could grow into that wasn’t too baby-ish.
Marcus is 5 now and we are expecting our second child. We’ve moved so I’m looking for new inspiration to do something different for baby boy number 2. But boy did we love his first nursery. It was the most relaxing room in the house. The large chair is still used for reading time.
We live in a decent size house, but the bedrooms are small. So when I found out I was pregnant with #4, I had to make the most of the space that we have.
Since #2 is almost here and my second nursery is almost complete, I thought I would finally organize and post pictures of our first child’s nursery. I wanted room that he could grow into so avoided a typical pastel muted nursery look and went for bold blues with pops of bright colour.
A bright, cheerful room for my darling baby boy.
Our goal was to create a sweet space for our baby girl who joined us in early March 2012. The challenge was to create this space out of a large living area in our one-bedroom condo. We used Ikea bookshelves to act as a wall.
While on bed rest for 8 weeks, I had the joy of designing a special room for my little guy. I am by no means a designer, so this was my first crack and a complete room re-do and I loved every second of it. I chose the bright colors because I wanted Max to have lots of fun things to look at and explore in his room.
We wanted to create a nursery that was modern, but classic. Playful, but soothing. Sweet for a baby, but fun for a little boy. We decided to use blue and gray as the base colors, with pops of orange. We originally envisioned the nursery as having a woodland theme, but it ended up a little bit woodland and a little bit spunky.
Finding out we were expecting a little boy meant transforming our daughter’s sweet pastel Peppa Pig filled bedroom into something more neutral. I fell in love with the woodland theme..
A whimsical mixture of modern and classic that is suitable for a girl and easily adapted for any boys in our future.
Baby boy nursery with an elephant theme
This nursery was a labor of love! So many people had a hand in making this a beautiful place for our baby which is why I think it is so special. I wanted to create a space that was fun but also serene.
