My husband chose Carter’s Forest Friends bedding for the nursery, so I designed a room around that. The room is full of little critters in unexpected places.
This is the nursery we designed for our son.
I wanted to use a lot of color in our son’s room. It is a small space and we already had a few furniture pieces to work with, including my great grandmother’s large dresser and small rocking chair. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be to find a crib and small dresser to match these pieces!
Blake’s nursery is bright, modern, and clean with lots of storage and cozy furniture. The colors are shades of blue, green, khaki, and chocolate brown with a few accents of alligators as a nod to our college alma mater, the University of Florida.
I wanted to create a simple and modern nursery for our baby boy. I also wanted to make sure the room could grow with him. I absolutely love the way it all came together.
